Hey guys, I was bored today and I decided..."Why not pretend I'm a composer trying to write music for WWTBAM?" So, I tried to come up with something I'd put as the background music to who wants to be a millionaire! I based this on the older, non-shuffle format, right after the $1,000 mark has been achieved (more intense than the first round, but not as intense as the 3rd, after $32K). Anyways, this is what I came up with. Tell me what you think! Attachments:

This sounds cool, however, it sounds too jolly. I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying it doesn't have that suspenseful feel that you would sense in other Millionaire cues.

BTW: What did you use to make this?

I used plain ole GarageBand on my Mac. And yes, I agree with you that it isn't suspensful enough. Im no Matthew Strachan, but I'll try to improve it and see what I come up with.

Here's a second one I did; tried to be more suspenseful and moved it into a different direction completely! Attachments:

Thanks so much! That really adds depth to the music. Here's a different tryout. I changed it to G major, and upped the tempo significantly. Tell me if you like it! Attachments:

Sounds great! Well done! I'd love to see how the rest of the community likes the cues. I took your second cue and added in the violin. Tell me how you think: www.mediafire.com/?f3c40n62qaz1chx

That sounds really, really cool! It actually sounds a lot better than the music for the shuffle Millionaire -- I really don't like that at all. Thanks so much for your help...When I have some more free time, I'll work on the "easy" level cue, the one for $100-$1000!

Imagine creating your own cue set. That would be awesome! If you do that, I might create a program where you can play different sounds at the same time (ex. playing the level 1 right answer sfx while the background music is playing).

That'd be really cool! We can both work on the music set, make a soundboard out of it, and release it in this community's Fan Games section when we have earned access! That'd be so awesome!

If I can gain access to the Fan Games section, I will put up my Millionaire Soundboard. This would be a great way to see how the program will work. See you soon.
