I'm fairly sure that on Super Millionaire, Regis said something about not being able to use lifelines on the same question after using Double Dip, making the only option giving one or two answers in a row.

However, on the clock format, Meredith never brought this up, and in the official rules, such a restriction is never mentioned.

Can someone help clarify this?

Well, I don't know if there are international rules or something, but on the Austrian version, where Double Dip is an optional fourth lifeline (for which the contestant has to give up the €15,000 second safe haven), you cannot use any more lifelines or walk away once it's locked in.

I'd say that, since that rule also applied on Super Millionaire, it's the same for the clock format.

I think the Russian version of the show also has Double Dip. Does anyone know how it works there?
