Have you ever participated in the AOL Ask the Audience lifeline? I have- it's pretty fun actually. You just have to wait forever to get asked a question.

I haven't used it yet. I do however, have the MillionaireIM name on my AIM (which I don't use much, and should start using).
Also, how's the AOL lifeline different from the Enhanced TV (which gives you the results of the Enhanced TV audience to any question)?

i have the buddy name on my AIM but have not been asked anything yet. Questions begin on September 1 and go through January 1. Some days there are no questions at all, and others there are plenty. You just have to be patient.

Oh, OK. Just to the home viewers who were lucky enough to play along (although the Hot Seat player only got the studio results).

Yes, I am signed up and do get the questions, though I'm not always online to receive & answer them. Tapings are usually on Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday, so that's the time to expect them.

OK, I watched the Season Premiere today, but even after signing up, I didn't get any questions!
I wonder what's wrong (even though the studio contestant could see the AOL results).

The season premier was taped about a week ago- that's why you didn't get asked a question.

Ah, OK.
So, the airdate is approximately how long after the tape date?

If they don't air reruns between the taping and the airdate, then it is approx. two weeks between the taping of an episode and when it airs on television.

Then, this means that today's show was taped on August 31.
I got a different question on AIM, than what was shown on the screen, which means that the AIM question would be shown on 9-28 airdate. Correct?
