So, I mentioned this in another thread and I think it's a pretty good idea. I'm still toying with whether the player should or shouldn't be allowed to walk away once activated as the reason Double Dip didn't allow walk away's was due to the statement of an incorrect answer. In a sense this is alike Double Dip too, except it's a different question which the player has no idea about. I'll try and get a fully working slide for the Fan Games people to test out themselves, I quickly created this one only for demonstration purposes, in game it doesn't actually work yet.
Sorry I haven't been keeping up with Millionaire Powerpoints, I've been so busy during summer and could only really do text posts on here. That's all starting to come to an end now so I can work on the American Millionaire Powerpoint first. ^_^ This is the graphic I've created from combining and smartly photoshopping two lifelines. The unedited one will be provided in the Fan Games section in the future.

That looks like a really cool lifeline. It's like a mix of the Switch and DD. This should be a new lifeline for Millionaire. Why didn't I think of this?

It is a really cool lifeline, I can't count how many times I've seen someone who has walked, away, tell the host what they would have answered only to find out that they would have been correct.
I think it would give contestants more confidence and hopefully lead to more money being won. I also like the way you implemented the lifeline into the game, good work. Would the contestant have to earn the lifeline, say it would unlock if they reach the top tier, or would it be available from the start of the game?

That's a good point pylguy. I think this lifeline should be earned after round 7 as those questions are the hardest ones where more money is at stake. I think it's a better alternative to the switch lifeline. How does everyone feel about the contestant being able to walk away after they have switched?

That's good. In addition, they shouldn't walk away or use any other lifelines while the Bounceback is in play.

I do like the concept, it's a good inventive mix, and easy to explain/use. My concern would be is that if you're giving the 2 chances concept that Double Dip gives, granted, one per question, is that there isn't enough risk to use this lifeline. Each lifeline on the show has always had drawbacks (and positives); and this one really lacks one. I'd incorporate DD's "You HAVE to go for it now." A lifeline needs both aspects to be successful. It works on positives, not negatives. Only constructive criticism here, I like the concept a lot.
List of lifelines pros/cons, all time:
ATA: Pros are basically that you're asking the studio, people with varying backgrounds, and probably know a thing or two on pop culture; it is NYC, after all. Con: It's the general populace, so they're less likely to know more obscure things, on the higher tiers of questions, a lot of the time.
PAF: Pros are obvious, it's called type it in Google. Con is that sometimes the contestant can waste time, the friend can hear something wrong, or try so hard as to search that there is NO response if Google doesn't turn anything up fast enough, in those 30 seconds.
50:50: Pros and cons are similar and obvious. You could be left with an answer you know is wrong and the right one, making it obvious to you what to go with; or you could be left with the 2 answers you are torn between, making for a wasted lifeline.
3 Wise Men. Pros: It's 3 people who are very smart, and honestly know what they're talking about. The problems/cons are that there are only 30 seconds, and help you if they disagree. Unlike PAF, no Google. Also comes at a point in the game where the questions are rather difficult, at $500K+.
Double Dip; pros: If you're between 2, you can go for both, and you'll be sure to be right, if it's one of those 2. Takes away the similar worries of 50:50. Can also be paired with 50:50 (with 50:50 first) to make a question perfectly answerable. Cons: You must go for the question/cannot walk, a rather enjoyable element of risk. Takes away future lifeline use upon using.
Ask the Expert, pros External influence that might help you get rid of an answer, or the person might just know from experience, or whatever. Also not timed, unlike 3WM and PAF. Cons are that usually the experts weren't too bright, and usually the lifeline went to total waste, making it moot, during most of its use.
Switch the Question. Pros: Get out of a question you don't like, hope to get one that fits your needs better. Con: Lifelines still used on the first question remain used/possibly harder question.
Jump(s): Pros are that you get out of a question you just don't know, similar to Switch. Game is continued, with no worries about said question. Con: You could have jumped the $25,000 question and/or a double value question. Would leave you with less walk money if you were to do so in the first tier, as opposed to Classic Millionaire.

Its a panic button lifeline, I have been wanting to see this sort of thing for a while! Only thing I would say about it is either you have to answer it kinda like a pass in Hot Seat or you can not use any lifelines on the bounced question or just put it at a safe haven kinda like Switch the Question from UK Millionare.

This lifeline looks cool ! I'd like to see this lifeline in some versions of wwtbam... This is a potential idea, I love it ! But I agree with NinjaTurtleDude this is a mix with the switch and the DD lifeline But I love this idea.
