Hi folks,
I am new to the forum. I came across this forum whilst doing research to make a WWTBAM hotseat style game for a university project. I'm studying nursing and have to make a Learning and Development tool to promote general health information!
I figured I'd start off using a powerpoint, but have come across a few dilemmas...(I'm a whiz when it comes to powerpoint...but some of the stuff is a tad over my head).
I have the formatting sorted...(I got some inspiration from a lot of other people's posts, and watching episodes on TV) but all the animations/hyperlinks are starting to do my head in! So i'm looking for some help/pointers to get things moving (i'm too far in to quit and change my project)
- Is there anyway to have a host screen/player screen in powerpoint?
- What is the best way to display correct/incorrect answer? (or is there a better way than my way)
Currently I have hot corners, that arranged from top left, to bottom right in A B C D order, that when pressed will highlight the answer, and play the drum roll. Then by clicking a invisible button in the middle of the ABCD possible answers, will highlight the answer and play the music.
- I have a 15 second timer, that plays the time out music at the end,but all the music plays together if i choose an answer before it runs out...Is it possible for powerpoint to halt the timer, as opposed to jumping to the end and playing the T/O music?
Currently, if I the player chooses the answer, before the timer runs out, when I click a button to display answers, the time out music plays, at the same time as the correct/wrong answer music...anyone have any suggestions regarding how to fix this?
I am happy to upload an example...but am wary, because I don't want my work to be pinched! Are there any secure methods to upload?
