The intention of what I was trying to put down got a bit screwed up on the screen so I will dissect it a bit.
The first section is the Verses Millionaire part, not the $1,000 mark alone. The divide is for after the verses section when there is only one player. What the player earns in the Verses portion of the game is how much they fall back too if they get the question wrong.
And here is a revised money tree.
$0 All above amounts up to the divide is for the Verses Section

$500
$1,000
$2,500
$5,000

$10,000- Classic Millionaire starts here.

$75,000- Safe Level
$125,000
$250,000
$500,000
$1 Million
And for the $0, I can see that is a risk worth taking and it kinda stays true to the LearnedLeauge roots.
Sorry if I came off as angry and like you should of got it in the first place. I understand that it may have come off differently when you see it through the screen.

I wasn't offended, I was just genuinely confused.
But let's be honest here--if playing with the whole shuffle format becomes tedious and boring, then what does that say about Millionaire in general? Let's be honest, you're watching someone play the same round up to 15 times.
And here's the other problem with your proposed tree--if one person misses the $5K question and Double Down is gone, the game's already over--it's impossible for them to catch up. I think you need to have the full 10 questions to prevent the game from becoming a runaway too early.

I would rather host the first instance of this format myself, thank you very much! And RegisFan--does that fly, reserving someone as host before the RPG signup thread goes up? I doubt it does, so it's not like it matters to me either way...I'll just have to have the "fastest fingers first." Har har. I'm afraid not. Reserving a host position prior to the posting of the sign-up thread wouldn't be fair to everyone. I wish you the best of luck during the sign-up process, though! |

woowho Looks like you're going to have to wait i'm afraid. Mario Vik already signed up to host. We know how desperate you were to want to try to this format out. Well have to see when the RPG 18 sign-ups are I guess.

They do look really nice but I have to ask, when the players lock in the same answer do the colours split and there is half and half on the same box or is there one filled up and there is a border around it like on The Chase with the chaser and the contestant? A random question yes but im just curious  |
