There's a note on my screen here: The New York Rangers had a 53-season drought that ended in 1994, which remains the longest--the Blackhawks, at 47, are the second-longest. While the Toronto Maple Leafs have the longest ACTIVE Stanley Cup drought (45 seasons and counting as of this writing), the question specified "in history"--therefore, the NY Rangers is the correct answer. (For those curious, the Kings bring up the rear at 43 seasons--snapped not too long ago in the 2011-12 season.) Now, Kimarough, I'm afraid that Double Down goes down the drain.
