Join us this Friday, 2/28/14, 9PM Eastern at www.livestream.com/therealcu2010 to play Super Millionaire!
Well, I said it would be a one time event last September. Well, not quite! Dual fan games holders therealcu2010, and me, Prizes, are doing another RPG, some Friday in the future, TBD (possibly tomorrow, possibly another Friday, we'll see). This time, it's with a twist, and with software, if you can answer a few questions for us:
The thing is...we have a few questions (not audition ones, sorry), regarding how to utilize the software. Namely, where can I get the software seen in the video seen below? Furthermore, is it customizable for our own questions? If so, how is this done. I have no knowledge of coding games, and cu does not either. We would like to customize it so that the questions we get are tailor made to our event, for maximized humor, and ultimately difficulty, which we try to emulate as much as possible from the actual show. We do not cut the difficulty. You get on, you're playing realistic questions. We also always avoid repeating questions from the actual show, as this does not demonstrate a representation of knowledge. Always original, always obscure, especially in the 3rd tier.
If we can do this, I'll give out the Livestream link you can follow along with, as soon as we know how to do this, as the game will be played through a stream, with appropriate cues as necessary.
If this is not possible, I'll give out the link still, and we'll do it like the first RPG, text-based, in a xat chat room. Rules remain simple, and the same: Stay on track during the game; no interruptions during the game itself, unless in PM, or your participation is asked for as a lifeline. More importantly, DON'T CHEAT. No searching in any way other than your head. Don't comply, and you're banned from the room.
We do expect about 10-20 people realistically, based on the last event, as well as that the site is a three-pronged sponsor event, advertising for RegisFan, Golden-Road, and Buy a Vowel. As host/computer are well established through all three sites, we hope to help build stronger connections between all three of them.
If this should be moved to fan games, given the request for links and customization, please do so, as I wasn't sure which one it would be better suited towards. Hope to see you all there; laugh lots, win more!*
~Prizes
*No money or actual prizes will be given away, other than bragging rights. My history with questions of writing with cu has lead to only one player in the 3rd tier, who missed his $2.5M question. Most typically walk at around $30,000, seemingly in tune with the actual show from 10 years ago.
