I was thinking (as I usually do) and came up with a modifier to live shows that could spice things up. I call them Evolved Lifelines. Every lifeline you have after the $32,000 milestone gets evolved into something greater. Here is what I have so far:

Ask The Audience> Ask The Nation: When the contestant uses this, it asks the audience as well as the people who have been playing online. This gets a wider poll on what the answer could be and people at home have the use of the internet as well.

Phone a Friend> Phone a Few Friends: This allows the person to phone up or ask all of their friends on there friend list at the same time. The contestant also has 45 seconds as well.

50:50/Double Dip> Double Down: This gets rid of one wrong answer as well as allowing the contestant to pick two answers.

Switch> Specialist Switch: Switches the question to the contestants specialist category which they picked prior to getting on.

So that is what I have at the moment. Add your own or make improvements on mine :3

Ask the nation was used in the uk version of the show, once in the 400th show (or maybe it was the 300th...) and for that show only, whenever ask the audience was used, the show would take a break so that the results could be counted, as the nation voted by phone.

Time Boost

This lifeline would double the remaining time for the current question to give the player some extra thinking time.

EVOLVED VERSION:
Extreme Boost

This version of the lifeline would double the TOTAL TIME for the question to give the player A LOT more thinking time.

What do you think of my new lifeline...

EDIT: Use of either version of this lifeline could activate an 'Overclock' which would deplete in place of the normal clock until it expired. I'll add a concept image/video tomorrow.

Here's some concept images for the Time Boost lifeline. Extreme Boost coming in a couple of days time.

Just before use:

Used now:

The clock has gone blue to indicate the Overclock is now running in place of the normal one.

Overclock about to expire:

As the Overclock runs down, the colour gradually returns to its original one.

Overclock now expired:

Once the Overclock expires, the normal clock starts running straight away.
