As someone who is an avid collector of the cards and games of Pokemon, I should know this. However, I'm not too sure... It was either Charmander or Clefairy. I'm thinking as Charmander was a Generation I starter, that'd be too generic for the mascot. I'm also thinking that Clefairy is quite quirky which is something a company that revolves mainly around quirkiness (if you disagree please don't shoot!) would go for something like that so yeah, Clefairy, Final.
