Hey, game show fans. I'm here to spread the word that members of the game show community are teaming up for a week of fun.

For seven nights beginning this Monday, July 7 and ending Sunday, July 13, we will be hosting one of your favorite game shows. No actual prizes or money are planned, but we guarantee a great night!

Here is our planned lineup:

* Monday, July 7: Family Feud, hosted by Guint Brown
* Tuesday, July 8: The Price is Right, hosted by goldroadfanatic*
* Wednesday, July 9: Countdown, hosted by Scott Bond
* Thursday, July 10: Jeopardy!, hosted by Scott Bond
* Friday, July 11: Who Wants to Be a Super Millionaire?, hosted by therealcu2010
* Saturday, July 12: Wheel of Fortune, hosted by MarioGS
* Sunday, July 13: The Chase, hosted by Guint Brown

All shows except TPIR will be hosted on a Livestream channel made specifically for this event at 9 PM Eastern: livestream.com/GameShowWeek. TPIR will be hosted at 8 in golden-road.net's chatroom (which requires a membership to join), but the chat will be simulcast in the Livestream for any non-members who wish to spectate.

Additionally, for the first time, Super Millionaire will not only feature live hosting, but contestant gameplay via Skype! If you have a Skype account, be sure to have it on and ready to go for Friday.

It all begins tonight, folks! The Game Show Extravaganza opens up tonight at 9 PM Eastern (8 Central) with Family Feud! Don't miss out on all the fun over the next seven nights! Hope to see lots of you there.

Also, a nightly tally scoreboard will be kept, in a similar graphical style to the GSE graphic. The more, the better you play, the more your username gets recognition, around the game show universe.

On a personal note, I am ineligible for all games, as the executive producer of this fun, and its idea founder. I can however, play the typical "challenge me" stack for SM, and a certain other show, as part of a few folks possible, though my scores will not count for this reason.

To play, it's simple, yep, just show up, and if we (the host) tell you you're playing, get ready to answer some surveys, price some prizes, unscramble some words, give some questions, enter a new dimension solve a few puzzles, and outpace a chaser. This process will be chosen mostly at the host's discretion, along with a few others (such as, and including, me).
