Yikes. Well, if you don't mind (and you remember) I'd be curious to know how much the government will take. Sigh. Lol. That I do not know. But the gov't is owed a percentage. Federal and State tax amounts depends on a number of factors. Your winnings will be thrown into a pot with your other income to determine your tax bracket. So whatever you make at your job this year, add $10,000. Some people think there is a special tax rate for game show winnings. That's not the case. The good news is that Nevada has no state tax, so you'll just owe federal and your home state. |

My friend and former $100,000 winner, Timothy Woodward, was my original choice, but he wasn't able to make it due to work, so he called Dan in to help me out. Dan was amazing!
