I just surfed on YouTube, looking for new Millionaire videos and then I discovered this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=JPhLyhFyJywApparently, the Greeks are planning to bring "Millionaire" back, just under the hot seat format. Does anybody have further information on this?  |

I'm Greek and I can tell you who the host is. It is a legendary greek comedian called John Zouganelis. Here are some pics of him! The top cash prize has not been announced yet, but it's gonna be awesome and I can't wait!!  |

Victor I can tell you at this day and age, 100k euros is a lot of money, considering that the current substitute of millionaire (or should i say knock-off of milllionaire) offers up to 10.000€. Plus, back in 2005 (way before the EU financial f***-up) the highest cash prize stood at 150k. So, basically 100.000€ is more than enough for today's standards. It may not be the highest amount of cash ever given on a greek gameshow (with that title being taken by the Power of 10 (1.000.000€)), but it's something, goshdarnit!! (Sorry if I sound too offensive...)

You're right, paulister, it is still a lot of money. But when the name of a show is Millionaire Hot Seat, you would expect the top prize to make someone a millionaire. |

100K is still alot of money for anyone, however, I conmpletely agree Victor The fact that the show is called MILLIONAIRE, you would have thought that you would be able to win A MILLION!! I defeats the object of the title. By the way great video RicePlay33 |

It would be better to produce the show only under the name "Hot Seat" and the term "Millionaire" should be removed, because it somehow promises a top prize of one million. If they take away "Millionaire", any top prize could be offered.
By the way, this is not the only version to use the term "Millionaire" in its title, without giving away a million as a top prize, for instance Portugal's current version ("Quem Quer Ser Milionário?", top prize: €100,000) and the Spanish version of "Hot Seat" ("Quién Quiere Ser El Millonario?", top prize: €100,000)

Sorry to bump a dead thread, but I found footage of the new series! One thing I really love here is the set! The only thing: the colors are horrible! The red and green just don't mix with Millionaire. (Although, this is Hot Seat we're talking about.  ) The show seems to be of pretty good quality, too. If you want, you can find other episodes pretty easily on YouTube. |

Waa ! The set looks very good ! And I really love how they mixed the Classic Millionaire musics ! Anyway, seems like the show is well produced. I think I prefer this version of Hot Seat than the Australian one.
