I think that it is really hard to read, However I do not think that they would adjust it to $4000, because $5000 is a nice round amount, however if it was $4000, they would be in order. The bank would have to be $40 thousand because he would not be hugging Terry for a low amount. I stand to be corrected though guys!

It's probably $40,000. Notice that most of the round is complete. Promos have shown two questions valued at $100,000 so far. In my opinion, these questions are not dumbed down at all. They're toughies.

I saw the first episode today. The money tree stayed the same, but they added a new lifeline called Cut the Question. Basically, it's a Switch the Question revival. Same function, different name. As for the $40,XXX, I can't figure that part out.

Oh, they've bought Switch back. Will it be for the regular version of the game as well or just for kids?

I quite like the sound of a Switch Revival. But I do not like the name'Cut' Is the icon a set of scissors of something? Ha Ha. I would much prefer a more useful lifeline... Possibly a revival of the Classic 50-50. I could not imagine Phone a Friend due to Meredith saying "Internet compromises the Intergrity of the Lifeline... They get Mr Internet"

I think you're absolutely correct if this freeze frame I got from a recent "This Week" video indicates anything. Notice how, at the bottom right, there's no comma after the 4 and before the 0, so the only logical conclusion is it's 400, which isn't possible with the normal money tree. Although it also looks like there's at least 1,000, 2,000, and 3,000 on the board, so I really don't know. It's very faint, but it looks like the amount above the $3,000 is $4,000 instead of $5,000. Could the 40 be forty thousand? It also might be his total bank for the game... $400 doesn't seem to be on the tree, and $4,000 would have a comma.

That is where the total bank goes.

The idea of a kid aged 11-16 gambling with potentially tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars worries me. In Poland, they had children play for charity. One player lost 468000zl!!!

That is a really interesting figure! He lost the Million Dollar Question, the child will probally be annoyed for the rest of his life now. But still 32 Thousand is good money but coming so close to the History of Millionaire; I would be extremely gutted.
