My thoughts:
I liked the show, but had to sleep at 5 am because it started at 2 am in Spain, oh well. ^^
The Game of the Year in my opinion, Bayonetta 2 had to win. But, it was clear that Bayonetta 2 wasn't going to win because of the level the other nominees had.
The Imagine Dragons appereance was spectacular!

I didn't watch it but I have a few opinions on it.
1. Destiny shouldn't have won best Online. That game was a complete grind-fest that got boring as heck. A replacement would be either Hearthstone or GTA Online.
2. Best Shooter should have gone to Wolfenstein: The New Order or Alien Isolation. Far Cry 4 was just too recycled and samey as Far Cry 3.
3. THANK GOD PEWPLZDIE DIDN"T WIN TRENDING GAMER!!!

But overall pretty good!

I didn't watch either but I do have a few things to say.
I've heard lots of things about Destiny not being as fun because of the grind-fest. The only issue with GTA is the fact that they have had tons of network issues and still are having netcode/update rates. However, I do think that it should have won.
I'm surprised that the master chief collection didnt win the best shooter. Sure the multiplayer is completely broken, well Xbox live is thanks to lizard squad, but I know Adam from Inside Gaming would pick this game even if it is broken.
I'm glad that Nintendo had some recognition and I agree that they're the best developer. Creating a ton of first party games with a few 3rd party to support and having this much success is really great. Sure the wii u is a flop right now and it will for a while until the price drops. Considering that buying out 3rd party developers is becoming a normal thing now, I think definitely deserves a lot of credit for that and they don't have to rely on companies like Activision and EA to give the consoles content. I think that's what Miyamoto was talking about. Sure fantastic games like The Last of Us are created but Sony didn't make the game. Almost all of the Nintendo games are made in-house and i like that.
I don't understand the whole idea of the trending gamer. It's just free advertising for the nominees and the winners. I don't think pewdiepie can qualify as a trending gamer considering that he has 35 million subs.
