I'm very sorry to make you all sad now, but I found this article. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2877190/Teenage-Little-Pony-fan-posted-heartbreaking-YouTube-video-APOLOGISING-internet-trolls-tormented-days-threw-train.htmlThis 19-year-old Brony killed himself in a railway after bullies accused him of plagiarism in a MLP fanfic he posted. On the YT video he posted after he apologised himself for steaing it, the comments were still bullying him. A couple days after, he was seen by last time crying way home, in his way home there was that railway, and the train killed that boy. Why does MLP need to be only for little girls? I don't really understand! Just because you're a boy and you like MLP you need to die and be embarrased? I don't know why things like this happen just because you like a series about coloured ponies. But I hope he is in a better place now, RIP.

They will be arrested and charged anyway, I hope...
Plus, didn't that also in some way influence him to commit suicide, because if it did, they can be charged with that too

The suicide act of 1961: 2: Criminal liability for Complicity of someone's Suicide (1) A person who aids, abets, counsels or procures the suicide of another, or an attempt by another to commit suicide, shall be liable on conviction on indictment to imprisonment for a term not exceeding fourteen years. I feel deeply saddened about this accident. This is what the internet can do to people. It can destroy lives. Just because your like something that's little-girl-related doesn't mean that other people can make fun of them. We are all different people. We like different things. No one should have the right to make fun of us just because we like different things. It's just who we are.

This is completely sick. While I am one for Internet freedom, there HAS to be a line drawn. Some guidelines at least. People should not be allowed to behave in this manner and this also shows a failure of the system to protect people from bullying. This happens everywhere, we witness it everyday in YouTube comments. The longer people are allowed to carry on like this, the number of occourences of incidents like this will rise .

This incident, as pointed out above is absolutely wrong and awful, it does not belong in the society in which we live in today. Just because Adam Smith, 19 had learning difficulties does not mean that he should have been bombarded with spiteful remarks and accused of plagiarism over a short story he put on a website. We need to respect other people difficulties in life, and people posting harmful comments should think what they would feel like in his shoes. Also cyber bullying is a very serious matter which can harm people, especially on social media websites. There certainly needs to be a system where this bukkying can stop, and the people who are doing this should be punished.
