Does software engineers know what to do? Despite that, you've won $8,000! [Q8 Win cue plays; audience applauds] [Q9/14 Lights Down cue plays] A little fun fact, there are two key names associated with the club that I know of: Eddie McGuire has been the President of the AFL club (that stands for Australian Football League) since 1999 Chris Tarrant and no, there's NO relation between the UK TV presenter and this Chris Tarrant who has played for Collingwood for many years. Above here's the state of play, as you may see, you've still got two lifelines, my friend. Seven questions away from a million, here's one for $16,000: [Q9 Heartbeat bed plays]

Got me this time. Maybe this one will be easier to choose between two so let's go 50:50

postIf you don't mind me asking, @paolo16gula, could you please tell me where you got those graphics? end Post ---------- No, I won't, ben. But I will tell you that these were made by myself, but that's all I can tell you. ---------- End millionairefan64 is using a 50:50 lifeline, so let's narrow the answers down by two. Computer, will you please eliminate two of the wrong answer leaving us the correct answer and one other wrong answers? [50:50 Sting plays] Either Spain or Portugal. Which country has never won the ESC? You've still got Phone-a-Friend, you can also walk away with $8,000.

Alright, now it's clear. I'm going to say D: Portugal, final answer.

[Q9/14 Final Answer cue plays] If you'd change your mind... and say B: Spain as your final answer instead of D: Portugal... You would've been totally wrong. You've won SIXTEEN GRAND! [Q9 Win cue plays; audience applauds] [Q10/15 Lights Down cue plays] Spain, believe it, or not actually won it twice according to the information that I received a moment later... And just an additional information, but you couldn't care less on the two countries eliminated by the 50:50 process; Italy also won the Contest twice and France 5 times. Look at the money tree above, millionairefan64: get the next question correct, and you won't leave here with less than $32,000. If you answer it incorrectly, well it's just Goat Simulator for you and a thousand bucks just for a good measure. One lifeline left: a Phone-a-Friend, use it wisely and take a look at the $32,000 question: [Q10 Heartbeat bed plays]

OK, let's get him on the line.
[PAF Stand By cue plays; phone rings twice]
fgsh: hello? p15gs: Yo, this is Paul G. calling from Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. fgsh: Oh, hi there. p15gs: We have millionairefan64 who desperately needs your help. This is final lifeline he is using, and he thinks you could with no problems help him out on the $32,000 question. Do you understand? fgsh: Yeah, I do. p15gs: OK, your time begins now.

*Clock starts, millionairefan64 reads question and answers*
Sorry, but I have no clue at all. I don't watch tennis and follow the players, so I really don't know the British players. My advice is to go with your gut instinct or take the sixteen thousand. Good luck!

[Q10 Heartbeat bed plays] Well, you've got not much help from the phone-a-friend, millionairefan64... you're without lifelines at this stage, so you might as well either go for it and risk $15,000 or take home sixteen grand.

Oh boy. I'm about to be very smart of very stupid as Ken Basin has said. I came here with nothing but at least I am leaving with something regardless. I'm going to take the gamble because I would love to secure that I leave with at least $32,000. I'm going to say that it's D: Fred Perry, final answer.

You had $16,000... You had no clue about tennis and Wimbledon, so did your Phone-a-Friend... And you've decided to take a deadly stab risking $15,000... In 1936 he was the last British champion to win the singles event before Andy Murray won it in 2013. The name of that player was... FRED PERRY!![Q10 Win cue plays; audience wildly applauds] [Q6/11 Lights Down cue plays] WOW! That must've been a total and utter guess. How in your mind you've decided without futuregshost's help just ignoring the fact that you could've taken sixteen grand just went for it and WON double the cash? I'm actually in total shock to be honest... Very well done, millionairefan64. Now, you're out of lifelines. You're now just 5 questions away from a million, you're now guaranteed to take $32,000 no matter what happens. You might as well answer the next question, it's a free guess if you decide to play on this $64,000 question:

OMG, I can't tell you how relived I am. Even on questions I don't even know, I always have a haunch on what I think it could be. I so desperately wanted to get to that $32,000 milestone especially after winning nothing last time. What a relief. I did not want to face that question and then walk away that close to the milestone. I would of been fine walking out with $1,000.
As for this one, if I had switch the question I would use it (audience laughs). Since I can't lose anything, I'm just going to ahead and guess A: Gold, final answer.

[Q6/11 Final Answer cue plays] That's GOLD! You've won $64,000!![Q11 Win cue plays; audience applauds] [Q7/12 Lights Down cue plays] Sorry to make a bad pun, but that's one of the most GOLDEN answer I've ever seen [audience giggles] Auric or Aurum is indeed a Latin name for Gold with the chemical symbol of Au (upper case "A" and a lower case "u".) U have got $64,000, have a look at a question worth an additional 61 grand: [Q12 Heartbeat cue plays] No lifelines left, this is worth an eighth of a million bucks.

I think it's A: Second but there is still one more contestant that has yet to play and I'm not really confident enough to go for it and risk it. So, I'm going to Walk Away. I'm going to take the $64,000, it was a pleasure to be on once again. I would of gone for A: Second.

Post ------------------------ Congrats on the $64,000 win millionairefan64 - I'm not known for producing the easiest sets.
Paul G. Obviously with me being away last weekend - you've got the answers to the last three questions from that first stack - you're free to either post the last three questions or save them for another game in which you're either Host/Computer ------------------------ End
