One thing that has been bothering me now that I feel my software is nearly finished for Classic and HotSeat, do we have any pictures showing the 2009 host screen showing the win straps like the first screen below? I have seen one Fan made host screen show win straps but would rather see a photo or an account from someone who has been to a taping before I implement them in my host screen.

In the 2009 screen, I'm pretty sure they don't actually show the win straps at all, although I may be wrong. I think you may be referring to my fan made screen roboboy in which case I added them purely for a sense of familiarity (i.e. they're not actually there on the real screen).

I was referring to yours. I was thinking maybe they do appear since the original host screen showed them but maybe not.

I've noticed something on the first episode of the hot seat version... The host screen of Eddie was visible during the live play... The timer is very much visible.. May I ask if there are differences in the details in the rectangles in the Hot Seat format vs. Classic format?

Well, this could be helpfull... I've certainly writing how the screen works 2 or 3 pages ago. To answer at your question just look at the second screen schema and maybe you're going to understand : This is how the very first host screen looks :
And this is how some actuals hosts screens looks :

Thanks for this...this surely give a lot of help...... Here's from the Indian Version of the show.. I noticed that their host screen doesn't feature the square that changes color depending on the answer (ie. red for wrong, green for right). Instead, the letter itself is on the screen.

Seriously, mewninaire, I hate to be mean, and especially on these forums, but your behavior is getting ridiculous. This thread has been dead for more than a year. The rules state specifically do not bump a dead thread unless you have something meaningful to add to it, and that was less than meaningful a post to add to the thread. I swear, this is getting worse and worse with each passing day. (Admins and mods, apologies if this constitutes backseat modding.)

Also deleting your posts, mewninaire like you just did here, isn't going to improve your reputation in this forum, let me tell you...

Well, to answer his question, all the fonts are some form of Verdana, either regular or bold. 99% of all modern computers have it installed, which justifies its usage on pretty much every host screen. Also for anyone curious about fonts, Identifont is a super handy website for finding fonts based only on their appearance.

This is not the proper thread for this question. While I believe it to be a legitimate question, just in the wrong spot, I won’t give a warning level for this but you are on notice for bumping dead threads. Please be cognizant in the future.
