Is it me orsince Millionaireended the top prizes avaliable have been quite a bit lower? Don't get me wrong, £25,000 is a lot of money, but prizes used to be a lot bigger.

So that could mean game shows like The Cube (£250,000) and Deal or No Deal (£500,000) can lower their top prize to less money?

Remember this show is a daily daytime show on at 4pm weekdays so the budget isn't that high lol £25k is enough for a gameshow like this.

I like this sort of format where the contestants have to play games with a decreasing time limit. And I freaking love Vernon Kay as a host! He did a fantastic job with Family Fortunes All Stars and Million Dollar Mind Game. Five Minutes to a Fortune was possibly my favourite game show from 2013 and I have been watching The Cube on YouTube when I can. This is a good start to 2015 in gameshows!

I know, but I can't think of any gameshows of the top of my head that offer any where near to £1,000,000 anymore, except, as abstractwb said, Deal or No Deal that offers £500,000.

They must hate people with a heart condition Depends on the type of heart condition, really. Although I'm sure it says on the application form that you can't apply if you have any heart conditions...

For example: POTS or some other kind of tachycardia disorder (fast heartbeat) Or a bradycardic disorder (slow hr (less than 60bpm)) (eg. hypothyroidism). Either way, I'm pretty sure you have to be clear of those sorts of thing to be able to apply. Heck, they even state that you can't have taken any medication for that sort of thing (eg. beta-blockers) for at least 48hrs before taping. Think of it like doping prevention. ---------------------------------------- On a lighter note, I like the idea of having the string quartet playing at the same speed as the contestant's heart. Nice little quirk, that.

Speaking of which, can someone please post an episode of the show online in decent quality? I've found one episode but the video is in 360p and has extremely low quality audio.
