Agreed. I'd love to see an exploration of other formats. Perhaps bring in the rave format, or maybe even create something brand new. (Please please PLEASE don't bring Hot Seat over though.) Hot Seat is better than the shuffle format.. Don't agree. Already said my piece about Hot Seat elsewhere in the forum. EDIT: I'll even link to it. |

Personally, I can't wait for Terry to get off of Millionaire. His personality makes Millionaire, a game show that the UK version's producers back in 1998 said was the best drama on television or something like that, seem more like a generic big-money game like The Price is Right.

It's been a while since the US had a suspenseful and thrilling version of a game show or game show in general. Millionaire is in a huge need of a makeover, cues need the connection factor the classic soundtrack had (the heartbeat in the background). Why the producers can't consider changes is beyond me. Best of luck to Chris Harrison but I feel it has been and will be going downwards.

I believe Chris Harrison will make a great host and I hope the producers decide to change some things to make the show more suspenseful and more attracting to viewers. Maybe they can darken the set after every question like they did in the original format.
