The old episodes of WWTBAM NZ came on a few nights ago and I was thinking, how many other WWTBAM adaptions never gave away the top prize?
The closest we came in NZ was $250,000 but has there been any other countries that gave away less or failed to give away a decent amount?

The Irish version had a two-year run and yet, they never had a Million Pound/Euro winner.

Latvian version no one won top-prize, or china.

Poland came awfully close. Didn't their lone winner come in their last season?
Technically the Poland version ran for two separate series, so you could count the first one as being winless.

They have only 1 winner. And they closed the game on 19/12/2010. And we have 4 players could be winners back to 2008 and 2010. |

Ukraine version have 3 winners. And one winner from Hot Seat. Kazah Version have 2 winners and they closed on 2005

Ukriane Version. BAck to 2000 and 2005. They have 3 hosts, and they have 2 winners. Until Hot seat appeared on 2011. And they have 2 players who got on 15th question 2005, And one of was new year episode and second was only player. And on 2005 they closed the game by ratings . 6 years without Millionaire it was disspointed me. Because i was fan of that show. And 2011 year they appear again, i was happy and i hoped they have winners. And only 1 person answer correct. And on August 13, 2011 it was last episode and i was dissapointed again and now i missing ukraine version again and i wish they bring on tv.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire was aired here in finland 1999-2007. No one has won the 1 million prize. Highest winning prize was 70 000€. WWTBM is starting again here in Finland next saturday, so Finland might get a millionaire, who knows  I was lucky to get in audience, it was amazing experience! |

Greek Hot seat millionaire has a top prize of € 100,000 but no one has ever won it or even get close to winning it.The biggest money prize that was ever won is € 10,000(12th question) and only 2 players managed to win it.The first in January 2015 and the 2nd in March 2016.Questions beyond the 10th are extremely hard and someone could get them right only by giving a random answer(25% possibility). I believe that prizes greater than that(€ 20,000,€ 30,000,€ 100,000) are unwinnable on purpose,because the network(Skai tv) doesn't want to give out a very large cash prize.However on older versions of classic millionaire(Mega channel and ERT),we had 2 top prize "millionaires".The first had won 50,000,000 Drachmes in October 2001 and the 2nd had won € 150,000 in November 2003.I think that it was much more easier to win a massive cash prize on the old,good,classic Millionaire than on today's revamped "Hot seat" format.

In Czech version they never gave top prize. We had two versions, but there wasn't a winner in any version.  |
