*Stop the Clock plays. Double Dip 1st Chance plays* Right, so you now have 2 chances to give me the correct answer to this one, so if you get it wrong the first time, it won't be all over. However, if you give me two wrong answers you will drop down to $25,000. You cannot walk away with the $50,000 now, so it's $100,000 or $25,000. You are now also not allowed to use anymore lifelines for this question. Can I have your first answer, please?

Since I could name four countries prior to using the lifeline, I'll take A, 5th, as my first final answer.

*Double Dip 1st Final plays* You decided to take the Double Dip... And it's a good job you did, A is incorrect. *Double Dip Lose & 2nd Answer Plays* Right so you have to give me a correct answer now or you'll drop down to $25,000. You can't walk or use any other lifelines remember, so I need your second answer when you're ready.

Hm, well, to some reiterate, I doubted there were many more, if any, than four countries larger than Australia. Because I believe it to be low, it only makes sense to go the next smallest remaining answer. Therefore, B, 6th, final answer.

Post ------------------------- Videos may only be temporary, so don't get used to them just yet. Hope the audio quality is ok for the staff, usually I use a text-to-speech program as well, except the website doesn't like FireFox and my Google Chrome stopped working, so if I get that fixed I'll use speech again. Also just to clarify, unlike the early video based RPG's, the contestants don't have to use videos to answer. ------------------------- End

Okay, Aristo-, or similar presumably, is Greek, and the whole word itself is defined that of those who are rich have the power, at least in modern context. You figure because of the USA's democracy is Greek rooted, and shares the -acy suffix;
The concept of interest from my perspective is use of the term 'literally'. Given how so often other languages rarely literally translate, it'd only make sense for A to be a trap. Interestingly, knowing the etymology leads me to believe it could not be B, either. Barons did not exist in Greece, as baron originates from Latin, as it were. C, the best, that does not stick out to me, in any given way or form. As for D, interestingly, if I think about anything in Greece lead by few, that'd be, well, another form of government, an oligarchy, actually.
Hm. Do I go for an answer I'm not sure of at all, despite my thoughts on the others? After all, it really could be as obvious as A. Sometimes the obvious is just the obvious, no more, no less. If I only had another Double Dip, eh? As I don't, I'd like to consult our expert, Paul G. about this one, see what he thinks about the practicability of A being a trap. Will say though, Paul, safe to rule out B and C in my book, unless you feel otherwise. Any idea about C and its role, history, or otherwise, at all? Stumped there.

OK, so I may be sure the first time I've seen this question, but I'm not right now. I've always thought that being an "aristocrat" is like bring the most intelligent of all or like C: The Best. But they're asking us what does the "Aristocracy" mean. You said that it's safe to rule out B and C. Again, quite honestly I think answer C might be "the closest that I might have come up with" when it comes to the information. So, I'm 60% certain that C is the correct one. But again, it's your decision.

Ah, I typoed, I had mean to rule out D (as opposed to C), as per my explanation above, since The Few I believe has roots in some way related to the fellow Greek oligarchy.
But thank you for your advice, given your thoughts, and no inclination about A in a positive light, makes me believe you are right. I'll agree. Let's play this with C, The Best, final answer.

Considering when when Nevada was founded in the mid 19th century, why would there be lots of lights? It may be nicknamed the city of lights, but that makes zero sense historically, given the lightbulb wasn't until 1879. Cactus I believe is the same in both languages, and deserts is close. Given Nevada's historical land makeup, I've got to think it's B, not to mention the other answers not making sense on either historical or language grounds, I've got to play this. B, The Meadows, final answer.

Thanks. Now working. Not sure at all here, though there's some reasoning on my end that doesn't lead to any of the four answers. ...that means it's time for the Phone-a-Friend. If it's not a locked player, I'd like to call Gagamillionaire. If it is locked, that's cool too.
