A quarter of a million pounds... 22 identically sealed boxes... And no questions. Except one: Deal Or No Deal?
I'm going to be holding a DOND RPG in this thread, it's based off the UK version. All of the amounts are paired to their box using random.org, and are all then saved in an excel document. Like the UK version, there will be Box 23, which can allow to you add more to your winnings, or lose it all.
These are the roles and how to sign up for them: Contestant: Post in this thread! I plan to do more than one game, so if more than 1 person signs up for this I'll use random.org to decide who plays first. Those who don't get selected won't have to sign up again, and will be automatically selected for a chance in game 2. Advisors: These will be the contestants in waiting, they will give advice to the contestant when an offer is given if it is wanted. If you want to just be an advisor and not a contestant, mention that in your post. Anyone on the boards can come and give their opinions and what they would do, but only when it is asked for. Banker: To sign up for this one, please PM me, just to keep the identity secret. After every round they will be sent a quick summary of that round, then they will give me and offer which I will then post publically. If no-one signs up for this one I can do it.
Once both the contestant and banker roles are filled, I'll start the game.
This is the board with all the amounts on:

(The Banker role has been filled, so we can now begin) *Deal or No Deal UK Theme Plays* Welcome to Deal or No Deal, the show where you don't have to answer any trivia or do any physical challenges, just open some boxes. Our contestant could win up to £500,000 today, but they could blow it all and leave with nothing... And there is one person who will stop at nothing to try and get them to sell their box for less than it's worth. The Banker. On this show, nothings guarenteed until the player says Deal, so half a million is on the line. Let's meet todays first constestant, wwtbamfangamer ! *@wwtbamfangamer walks out onto the stage* Hi! We'll have time for talk and interviews later, but first things first, we need you to pick one of our 22 boxes to be your box. It can contain life-changing sums of money such as £250,000 or £100,000, or money that won't even cover the bus fare home like 1p and 10p, with some nice amounts inbetween. All of the boxes are indentical except for the number on the front and the money inside. The only person who knows where the money is is our adjudicator, who randomly placed all the money in the boxes before the show began. So, now if I could know what box you're going to pick please, and the first 5 boxes you would like to open... (Probably should have done this earlier) RULES: 1: The Contestant and the Banker have 48 hours to respond when they are needed to, else the will be replaced by a back up. They get one warning which they can reclaim their role from, but after that it's game over. 2: The Banker is to keep their identity a secret, and the contestant is not to ask around to see who it is. 3: Don't ask me what's in each box. I won't tell you. 4: You can sign up after the game has begun, but unless you want to be an advisor, you have to wait until the next game. 5: Play realistically, even though it's not real money, play as if it was. 6: If you have any questions about the game, or an out of character comment, you can either use the Post-End format or just use (brackets) 7: Have Fun!

Ok, so Box number 13 for you... Does it contain a quater of a million? Who knows, but we'll find out at the end of the game. Right, here we go, let's play, Deal or No Deal. *Money Amounts appear on the screen as well as the "Swoosh" sound heard when that happens* *Box-Opening Round Music Plays* So we need 5 boxes to be opened before the banker gives us his first offer. Try and avoid the big money, if you can. We want to try and decimate the Banker's Power Five (The 5 amounts from 1p-£5), and as much of the left side of the board as we can. Good Luck. (You can either give me the boxes one at a time or all at once)

Okay, box 22... Let's try and keep it blue, please... *Drum Bang* *£50 disappears from the board, swoosh sound plays, audience applauds* That's a perfect start, let's see if we can take out four more blues. Your next box to open is going to be box 8. Keep it low, keep it blue, please: *Drum Bang* *1p disappears from the board, swoosh sound heard, audience cheers* Yes! That's brilliant to take that out this early, as long as you stay clear of the £250,000 now you should get a decent offer from the banker. 3 boxes to go this round, your next pick was... Number 14. More of the same please... *Drum Bang* *£500 disappears from the board, swoosh heard, audience applauds* Another blue gone, doing really well so far, but it could still all go wrong for us if we take out 2 of the top 5 now, let's keep it blue as we open box 6: *Drum Bang* *£100,000 disappears from the board, swoosh sound heard, audience groans* Oh no! We didn't want to see that one! That's put some pressure on now because if you take out either the £75,000 or the big one now it will cancel out taking the 1p, so this next box has to be a blue, or a very low red. You've picked box 12 as your last one, please let it be blue: *Drum Bangs* *£750 disappears from board, swoosh sound heard, audience applauds* There we go, much better. Good opening round there, taking out 4 blues, including the 1p, but we did take the £100,000, but I think we should get a fairly decent offer for that round. Now we just have to wait for the banker to call us with his offer. (When I get the offer, I'll update the thread)

I think so, if the Banker has anything to say... he can take it on me.

Also, I've made a slight change to the advisor role, anyone on the boards can help, but only when it is requested from the contestant.

*Phone Rings, set turns red* That'll be him. *Picks up phone* Hello, Mr. Banker. He says he's very glad you took the hundred thousand or else he'd be in a very bad position... More like that please, he says... Ok, thank you Banker. *Puts Down Phone* He seems to be in the spirit of giving, which seems a bit late considering Christmas was last week... Nevertheless, seems to be quite a generous offer: 17 grand for a first offer... Shows what taking the penny does! Anyway, it's your choice you can either take that and forfeit whatever's in your box, say no deal and open 3 more boxes until your next offer, or if you want it you can ask for some advice. (But just to save time, I'll ask you the question now, if you choose to take advice I'll ask it again afterwards) wwtbamfangamer . £17,000. Deal or No Deal? (And can I have your next three boxes please)

*No deal sound plays, audience applauds* Ok! £17,000 turned down, we need three more boxes please... Box number 20, let's avoid those big amounts please: *Drum Bang* *£3,000 disappears from screen, swoosh sound heard, audeince applauds* That's ok, that's absolutely fine, three grand gone. Next box please. Number 11 is the one you picked, please be a blue for us... *Drum Bang* *10p disappears from screen, whoosh sound heard, audience cheers and applauds* Brilliant! This is great, lowest two amounts gone, and our power five hasn't been damaged that much, if we can find 50p or £1 now the Banker will have no choice but to give us a high offer. You've picked box 5, let's hope that was a good decision. *Drum Bang* *£5,000 disappears from screen, whoosh sound heard, audience applauds* Hmm, yeah that's fine, doesn't damaged the red side too much, still got the really nice block there and the quarter of a million. The important thing is we still have 4 of our power five and the £10k-£20k "Smile Money" block, and he only has 3 left on his side. Let's see what he has to say about that...

*Phone rings, set turns red* *I pick up the phone* Hello there... Yes that was a good round for us, not so much for you, of course. Ok, thank you. *Puts phone down* He says you have to start finding the big numbers or you're going in has bad books. But of course you'll be in our good books if you took out more blues. Anyway onto the offer. He has gone up, as lots of us expected, he's now offering you £19,500. He said the reason for going up was taking the 10p. *Audience applauds* Nearly 20 grand after round two... Either he's ill and has something that makes him generous or he knows something about box 13 that we don't... The options are the same, if you'd like some advice you can have it, but here comes the question. Regardless of your answer, unless it's for some advice, can I have your next three boxes please. wwtbamfangamer . £19,500. Deal or No Deal?
