Although I'll welcome you back, as much as you may have matured, it's probably going to take a really long time to earn our trust, especially in terms of Fan Games. I think I perma-no'd your audition, but if you can prove yourself to us, I'd be willing to overturn that, but that isn't going to happen lightly.
I can only speak for myself, but if you can prove you've matured, I'll forgive your little outburst.

You might wanna think twice before automatically giving me a permanent "no", because I have matured. I held a grudge with this forum for a year, but I decided to give it a second chance because it's a new year, a new start. Besides, I have a friend on Skype who's also a Fan Games pass holder. Plus, I'm currently working on some graphics from the Shuffle format of Millionaire, so I have, in fact, matured. I've had my mind changed in the past, but you're gonna have to really knock my socks off with your contributions, your Skype friend notwithstanding. Saying that you're giving the forum a second chance doesn't help your case. You're the one seeking a second chance, not us. To be clear, I'm not running you off, but you need to know that you've got an uphill battle here. |

This immediately raises a red flag, because, the way you worded it, it seems like you feel entitled that you know someone who's in Fan Games, or that you expect this person will give you materials from Fan Games because you know them. This statement comes off as extremely presumptuous. Whether or not you have a friend who's in Fan Games is irrelevant. We don't judge auditions based on how many people you know, no matter how influential they may be. We judge them based on how much trust we feel that person has earned. Plus, I'm currently working on some graphics from the Shuffle format of Millionaire, so I have, in fact, matured. Working on graphics is not an indicator of maturation. I've created some Millionaire graphics for you all to see. This is not creating graphics. This is modifying the graphics in a commercial game to remove the background. Please do not take credit for someone else's work. |

Well I would be willing to change my mind if you'd matured, but thanks to you behaviour in this thread, you've proved to me you haven't matured that much, especially since you deleted your posts, I'm not willing to change my mind anymore. If you're wondering how I can still see the posts even though you deleted them, the quotes still show them.

I guess him deleting his posts means that he's changed his mind about coming back. Few people who claim they've matured really have. I'm all about giving second chances, but I can't fault others for refusing to in this case. You can't erase your past (particularly on the internet) and if you wish to be part of a community again, you have to expect that you'll be held responsible for it. Unfortunately, gamecrazyh, instead of wanting to clear things up and responding to our thoughts, you prefer to ignore all opposition. Community means dialog. With you, it feels more like you're holding a monologue and we're holding monologues and we're really only talking past each other. |

I AM NOT JOKING! I have seriously considering committing suicide on SEVERAL occasions, I'll have you know. My father was abusive to me for 10 years, and I came within seconds of slitting my own throat open. Someone on another forum threatened physical violence on me, and I came close to stabbing myself in the stomach with a butcher Knife. I've been called gay, Lesbian, fat, ugly, and stupid by people, and I nearly hung myself. I have considered suicide many times. Do not make me wanna have to think about it again.

Then you need to either see a therapist or get yourself on anti-depression medication, as soon as possible. You're not going to like what I have to say, but you need to face some hard facts. If someone on a forum or a website threatens you with physical violence, you need to learn to shrug it off. If your father was abusive to you for so long, you should have called 911 or told someone. I don't believe anyone here will sympathize with you after the stunts you've pulled this time and back in May. You keep telling us you have matured, but everything here says differently. You delete your posts and, I guess in an attempt to make us feel sorry for you, you bring up situations that you say occurred to you in the past that have zero to do with this forum. Why would you even bring that up in the first place? People called you names? Big deal. Build yourself a thick skin and learn to shrug it off. I could share stories about the crap I've had to deal with, but I'm not because it's not relevant to this forum and I don't want to come across as wanting people to feel sorry for me, but the experiences I've had have taught me to shrug off things people say to me. If someone is so insecure they need to resort to petty insults, that's their problem, and I shouldn't have to deal with their problem. This should be the same way you think. |

People are not always turned down when they audition. You were turned down because of a number of reasons, all of which have already been stated in this thread so I won't repeat them. Game makers may have different criteria, but they need to earn the trust of the community as well. They will not be allowed in Fan Games if they also receive any dissenting votes. I'm going to take the insult you have given me and shrug it off because it's not going to affect my life or my behavior going forward. I only wish you had the ability to do the same. Also, these tweets sadden me. You obviously haven't learned from your last mistake in May 2015.  |

I am sorry you had to endure what you did, but it is of no importance to what is happening here. Nobody is abusing you. We're trying to explain what bothers us, but you don't adress these points. Instead you call people heartless and paint us as these elitist bullies. Nobody here is ridiculing you, nobody is calling you names, we're only trying to make you unterstand. You see that as abuse. It isn't. It just isn't. And we don't hate you. Many probably dislike you now because of the way you talk to us, but hating somebody is a vastly different thing. i'm not a game creator and I still got access to the Fan Games section. I didn't know anybody "from the inside" when I joined this forum, either (not that it would have made a difference). I just talked to the guys here, didn't throw tantrums and followed the rules. And I wasn't turned down. If you think we're all so terrible to you, just leave. Why linger and make it more frustrating for everyone? |
