Ok, I know two it's not but I can't eliminate a third. I'm not going to say which two I think it isn't just yet, as I'd like to go 50/50.

First lifeline you've needed, let's hope it helps. Computer, please take away two of the wrong answers, leaving SGCSam the right answer, and one remaining wrong answer. *50:50 Sound Plays* So it's either Hafnium or Strontium that isn't in group four. One of those is worth £16,000, but the other would cost you £7,000. You can still Phone-A-Friend or Ask The Audience if you need to, remember. You said you could eliminate two, which two were they?

Knew it wasn't Titanium and I know it's not Hafnium so the 50/50 definitely helped. It's got to be B: Strontium! Final answer.

*Q9 Final Plays* You said the 50:50 did help you... Well... I have to tell you that... ... ... ... ... ... It did. You just won £16,000!*Q9 Win plays, audience cheers* *Q10 Lights Down Plays* Wow, this is certainly getting exciting. £16,000 so far and we are nowhere near finishing yet. You are just six correct answers away from winning one million pounds. You've still got those two crucial lifelines at your disposal. Now obviously as we get to the higher end of the money tree, the question difficulty is ramped up quite a bit, but everyone has their subjects they're more comfortable with. What would you say is your strongest subject, and likewise, your weakest subject? What sort of thing would you love to see as your £32,000 question, and indeed, £64,000, £125,000 and so on?

Well, I do like 20th century onwards History and I'm also not too bad when it comes to classic literature, but I'd hate to see any questions involving earlier History such as Kings or Queens or anything relating to the Bible. Let's just hope I'm lucky but I'm glad to have those lifelines to support me.

Well let's hope the questions play in your favour. You know, big money looks quite possible here, so if you won, say, £125,000, what would you do with it?

I'd be sensible and store it for a rainy day! I'd spend some of course, but the majority would be tucked away in case I ever needed it.

That's what I'd probably do, too. Anyway. This is the last point you could leave with just £1,000. Remember though, an incorrect answer here would lose you £15,000. That's a big drop, and a big risk. You still have two lifelines, though, so you are actually in a great position here. Question 10 is worth a guaranteed £32,000. I will remind you that you can walk with £16,000. Take your time, here it comes: *Q10 Background Music Plays*

Right ok, I'm fairly sure it's not B. C and A just look far too obvious, especially for this amount of money. I'm fairly certain it has to be D: European. Put simply, I think this is a question that's too specialized for the Audience to be of any use and I doubt I know any Phone a Friends who could have any idea of the answer. So I think I'm going to go for D: European, and hope it works out. Final answer.

*Q10 Final Plays* You almost immediately rules out B. You were right to do that, it isn't B. You thought A and C were both too obvious, so you decided to keep back your two remaining lifelines and played D: European. ... ... ... ... You had £16,000... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... You've just won £32,000! *Q10 Win Plays, audience cheers* Absolutely brilliant! *Q11 Lights Down Plays* £32,000! And that's the least you will leave here tonight with. Right. That's not dwell on that, there's still a lot more money to be won, and you still have 2 lifelines left. You are now just 5 correct answers away from becoming a millionaire. From here on in the money starts to really pile up, but obviously if the reward gets bigger, so does the risk. Except the risk for this question is a huge £0, as that £32,000 is guaranteed. You can still Phone-A-Friend, and you can still Ask The Audience. You may as well play this next question, you've got nothing to lose by giving me an answer, but you will get £64,000 if you can give me the correct answer. Here it comes: *Q11 Background Music*

Not a clue I'm afraid, I'll have to Ask the Audience.

Ok. Audience, we need your help, let's try and get SGCSam up to £64,000. Here comes your question: *Lights come up, ATA Start plays* Now of course remember not only will the studio audience vote, but so will this entire forum, and in 24 hours time, the poll will lock, revealing their response. Your question is: What is the title of the second book in the series of books 'A Series of Unfortunate Events'? A on your keypads is The Reptile Room. B is The Miserable Mill If you think it's The Penultimate Peril, vote C. And if The Austere Academy is the answer, vote D.
You have 24 hours. All vote now!
*ATA Polling starts*

*ATA End plays, lights come down, Q11 background music plays*
Right so let's see how the studio voted...
A: 56% B: 29% C: 7% D: 8%
Ok... That's quite good for a third tier question, 56% say it's The Reptile Room, 29% for The Miserable Room, just 7% for The Penultimate Peril and 8% for The Austere Academy. So that's a good result from the studio. *Audience applauds* Thanks, audience. Let's see how this forum voted...
*Graph flips*
A: 67% B: 22% C: 0% D: 11%
Much of the same really, a big majority for answer A. It's completely your choice, you still have a Phone-A-Friend if you need it. I will remind you that you may as well play this question, you can't lose anything if you get it wrong.

Both the studio audience and the forum seem pretty confident, so I'll go for A: The Reptile Room. Final answer.

*Q11 Final Answer plays* They did seem very confident, didn't they? Doesn't mean they're right... *Audience laugh* You had £32,000. ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... The audience ARE right, you've won £64,000!*Q11 Win Plays, audience cheers* *Q12 lights down plays* That is great! Speaking of great, they're a great series of books, well at least I think so anyway. You have £64,000 at this moment, and you are just four questions away from becoming a Millionaire. Now, however, the drops are huge for giving a wrong answer. If you were to go for this next one and get it wrong, you will lose half of what you have now, and drop to £32,000. If you get it right, however, we get into 6-figure territory, and you'll win £125,000. You still do have that one lifeline left, Phone-A-Friend, so that could be helpful here. You're playing a great game, and we'd love to give you some life-changing money here tonight. Question 12 is worth one-eighth of a million. Take your time and have a look, because here it comes: *Q12 Background Music Plays* (Just a quick note about the font, I've had to use PowerPoint's default spacing feature, but I've seen that you can actually just make the text thinner instead. Does anyone know how I can do this in PowerPoint? Thanks in advance if anyone knows.)
