I have got almost no idea for this question. However the word 'membrane' to me sounds like either the stomach or the ear so I think I have done my own 50-50.
I will go for A: Its ear, final answer. Sounds right for a 12th question difficulty setting. If it was stomach, I believe the question would be worth less money.
