I just had enough,
It's all well and good that people use other peoples graphics. But when it is not credited or even asked for, that's what gets on my nerves. And this is has been going for a while, now I am going to the point where I say this... I've had it!
This has been going on with newspapers, videos, artwork, profiles for public view, that thinks that they are entitled to use it too! So now more people are now using my and other peoples work in this forum with out credits or permission. This is just a basic act of stealing and even in some causes fraud.
I am not saying I am the main victim of this, and I completely understand that there are more victims out there.
But I am coming to the point where I am out of my depth, I am just out of my mind of what to do.
I really like to share my work with everyone in this forum, but I could be left the choice to remove all my artwork and place it on the Fan Games section.
What do you think I should do?

I really think that's what you should do. If you don't want any more silly people to steal the work you've created and shared gently out of the FanGames for everybody to access it, you should REALLY consider removing it from everyone's access and share it in the FanGames Sharing Center, where you'll be sure your work will be safe. Now, unfortunately when someone shares their creations to the public (without watermarks to protect it), in this case you're the one concerned, they'll be exposed to people that just... don't give a fu... don't care, to be more polite.  That's sad because when somebody puts a lot of efforts into something and shares it to the public, if anyone wants to use it, there are people that have enough hindsight to understand that they have to credit the author and ask for permission before doing anything, and others that are not mature enough and/or don't have enough hindsight to understand it. But fortunately, it is only just a minority. I mean, when you see threads like this, for example, you must wonder, can you really trust in others ? Yeah ! Yeah of course you can ! But there'll sometimes be someone or many ones to mess everything up. Now, it's your choice. There's perhaps a reason why you didn't put them in the FanGames in the first place ? Or you just didn't have access to this section yet when you shared some of your work ? But I think everyone can understand that you had enough. Now, that's only my point of view, how I see things. But again, you should really consider sharing your previous works in the FanGames. For now, have a nice day !  |

It might be the right thing to do and by the way don't mean to make is worse but this is something also affects me. Remember the US Dollar Sign logo you made? I'm spitting balls i'm so mad! Whenever I've used that logo in and RPG wwtbamfangamer I have given you credit for it. I didn't create the logo, you did. So in a way, i've also been affected even though it was created by you. I've also think i've been a victim because my avatar you see on my posts and my profile somehow ended up on this video and one other by the same user. Scroll to 0:54 seconds you know that I mean. Now I have to admit I have seen that GIF on Google and Bing Images when I have looked up my username "millionairefan64" but still shouldn't give someone the right to take and use my GIF without credit or permission. So basically now I know how it feels to be a victim just like quite a bit of us. wwtbamfangamer, i'm sure this will get resolved somehow. |

Well, he actually has been banned already but I don't think wwtbamfangamer made this thread only because of him but because of many malicious pepole who stole his work or steal other people's work in general. |

wwtbamfangamer honestly I think the best thing to prevent this is to only put your creations in Fan Games. It's sad that some people feel the need to steal, and that everyone else has to feel the consequences, but sadly that's how the world is nowadays. For the people who've already used them without permission, for millionairefan2006's YouTube videos, have you reported them for using your content?
