I had my 18th birthday not too long ago. (yay me)
One of the advantages of being 18 is that I can start applying for game shows myself. Have tried getting my mum and grandpa onto Hot Seat and I tried getting grandpa on Deal Or No Deal.
The closest thing to a success in getting a family member onto a game show is that my grandpa did the Hot Seat online test. Got through to the next round of auditions where it was a quiz with 30 questions. It ended up being that 20 right answers were the requirement to move on to the next part of auditions.
Grandpa got 19 right answers. Was one away from I believe the contestant coordinator stage and then if he made it through that bit, I believe he would have been on the show.
Anyway because I am 18, I can try to get on a quiz/game show myself.
I am looking at either The Chase Australia or Hot Seat.
Not Family Feud because it would be hard to convince 3 other family members to be part of the family in the show.
I am liking ABC's Hard Quiz but as it is the ABC (a public broadcaster even more stingy in game show prizes than the BBC), there is no cash prize. Just a gold coloured mug that has the Hard Quiz logo. Don't get me wrong the mug would be fantastic to have but cash always is better, don't you agree?
Out of The Chase Australia and Hot Seat, what show should I apply for. Likely to try for both but which should I try first.
Regardless of what I choose to do, because they would have filmed all 2016 episodes already, I don't think I can even try to apply until 2017.
