I am an avid fan of Eurovision, and it is an utter disgrace for me to implement the worst case scenario yet: the new voting system.
Look at it for ESC and JESC this year:
See the difference?
For me, it COMPLETELY ruined the reputation of the viewers. I think the old voting system is WAY better than this.

I don't think you have to be a fan of EuroVision in order to see how shoddy that is.

As a fan myself, and we can agree that these results are rather surprising. I have to say though that Ukraine this year is rather different compared to other entrees. With the Crimean Tatar influence and telling her story is something in this occasion works so well and powerfully. However, I would've been happier with either Australia or France winning it. But Ukraine deserved it well and I am looking forward to Kyiv 2017

Seriously I don't think the European organisers would ever let Australia win Eurovision.
I believe they actually have had non European winners but an Australian winner would probably be unacceptable for the organisers.
By the way we came 2nd this year in Eurovision (there was some controversy)

By the way we came 2nd this year in Eurovision (there was some controversy) Controversy in what way? Also side note: Whoever produced these shows (particularly the results shows) should produce the US' NFL and NBA draft nights... Or at least the draft order results. Also looking at the system... Wow... I didn't think that talent shows like this could have such an intricate scoring system.

By the way we came 2nd this year in Eurovision (there was some controversy) Huh? Why would they not want Australia to win? The organizers invited them, after all, and asked them back for next year.

The reason why it is WORST is because their new voting system is similar to their formats, ESC to Melodifestivalen and JSC to NL Junior Songfestivaal. I think Jon Ola Sand should be fired for this.

Also, my most despised artists this year were Douwe Bob, Serhat, Justs, Michal Szpak, Frans, Barei, Dami Im, and Iveta Mukuchyan. I hate them. And besides, Romania was forced to withdraw.

They doubled the amount of points (compared to previous years) and let half of be rewarded by the people and half by a professional jury. How is that confusing? They've made much bigger changes behind the scenes in the past. The performers are chosed by their countries, so what does that have to do with anything? Tastes are different. And Romania refused to pay their debts, so the disqualification was justified.

In what way could announcing points possibly be discriminatory?

Announcing only 12 points instead of all of them or 8,10, and 12.

That is most certainly not discrimination... Didcrimination is where you purposely treating someone badly because of their age, race, gender etc. It isn't only announcing the 12 points in Eurovision. That's just practical and saves time.
