*ATA End plays, lights go down, Q1-5 background plays* Okay, Peachfanclub. The results are in. A came out on top with 50%, C was next with 38%, then B with 12%. Nobody thinks the answer is cough. It's up to you what happens next, you can go with them but they may be wrong. You have a 50:50 and a Phone-A-Friend if you want it. I will remind you that a wrong answer will mean you leave with nothing.

Ok, not an overwhelming majority, and I think I have myself to blame for that. Sorry, audience. *audience laughs*
Under that circumstance, I'm a little confident in the 4-to-3 majority here. So, I will lock in A, Final Answer. *I take a deep breath*

Going with the audience... The audience are right! You have £5,000! *Q5 win plays, audience cheers* *Q6 lights down plays, set turns blue* Yeah, TV Burp was a show where Harry Hill would just give a comedic spin on the weeks TV, but only from the shows like soaps and documentaries. You have £5,000. That is now guaranteed. You've still got two lifelines left, 50:50 and Phone-A-Friend should you need them. This is for £10,000, good luck: *Q6 background music plays*

Well, one difficulty is that I've never read Mary Shelley's novel. So, I have no idea, and I think I'll have to Phone a Friend.

Phone-A-Friend? Okay, you have two friends to pick from, @paolo16gula and futuregshost. Which of those two do you think will know the answer to this?

*Q6 background music stops, PAF start plays* Okay, we'll get him on the line and then he'll have 48 hours to give an answer, and hopefully it'll help you. *Phone rings twice* futuregshost: Hello? MLUK: Hi, is this futuregshost? FGSH: Yeah, who's this? MLUK: This is millionaireloveruk calling from Super Millionaire, how are you? FGSH: Oh hi! I'm fine thanks, how are you? MLUK: I'm great, but I know someone who probably isn't feeling so great at the moment, your friend Peachfanclub. He's in the chair at the minute, but he's stuck on a particular question and needs your help. FGSH: Well I hope that I can help him out. MLUK: So do I and so does he. The question is worth £10,000, and there are still 4 possible answers, one of them is worth £10,000 and the other 3 means he leaves with £5,000. FGSH: Right, okay. MLUK: Good luck to both of you, your 48 hours starts now! *PAF Clock Countdown starts*

Okay, I have read the book, but it was quite a while ago. I remember Alphonse was his father, and his brothers were William and Ernest. But who was the youngest brother?
...I have a hunch it was William, but I can't be sure. But I am certain it's William or Ernest. Good luck!

*PAF End Early plays with 3 seconds left on the clock, Q6 Background plays again* Thanks, futuregshost . Well, I think that was quite helpful. Your friend has ruled out two of the answers, but is stuck between the other two. He says it's either C or D, and you do have a 50:50. I will remind you that you might as well play this one, as you don't lose anything if you get it wrong. What's your next move, Peachfanclub ?

My next move will be to play for the £10,000, millionaireloveruk. I came here to have fun, and I'm leaving with some play money regardless. I think I'll go with my PAF's hunch. C, Final Answer.

*Q6 Final plays* Nothing to lose, so saving your 50:50 for later, fair enough. Your friend ruled out A and B, but only had a hunch that the answer might be C. You had £5,000... You've now got £10,000! *Q6 Win plays, audience applauds* *Q7 lights down plays* Henry Clerval is Victor's friend in the novel, futuregshost was right about Alphonse being his father, and Ernest is his younger brother, but William is the young est brother. Actually, he was name after Shelley's own son who sadly died when he was 3. Now, you have £10,000. You are just nine right answers from ten million, and 4 away from the Next Dimension. You still have a 50:50 should you need it. Question number 7 of 15 is worth £20,000. Have a look, take your time if you need it. A wrong answer here will lose you five of the £10,000 you have at this moment. Good luck, this is your seventh question; it's worth twenty grand. *Q7 Background music plays*

Ok, I have an idea of what it's not. When I took German in high school, I remember learning that they used to use the mark, but I don't think I learned the word "centime" from that course. Also, the word doesn't sound very German.
However, I can't really narrow it down from the other three... at all. So I'm going to have to take the 50/50 now.

Okay, we can do that for you, hopefully this will help. Computer, please take away two random wrong answers, leave Peachfanclub the right answer, and one remaining wrong answer. *50:50 plays* Well, it's either a Franc or an Escado. Which of those was divided into centimes? All of your lifelines are gone now, so you are on your own, but you may walk away with £10,000 if you want to.
NOTE: 50:50 is performed randomly by inserting the 3 incorrect answers into this tool. Two of the incorrect answers are selected to be removed, leaving one left available to answer.

Well, usually when I take the 50/50, I end up going for it. If it were down to the franc and the lira, I would've been torn between the two. The franc and the lira both looked attractive to me before we went into this.
My biggest question now, is how it's pronounced. The escado doesn't seem right to me. If you were going to stress the last "e" in centime, it would seem more Spanish to me than Portuguese. Besides, I think the French language is known for making the last "e" silent in such words, so if the "e" were indeed silent, I would be inclined to pick the franc anyways.
I'm gonna say A, Final Answer.

Post ----------------- Just a spelling correction, Answer D is an "Escudo", not an "Escado". ----------------- End
