I have absolutely no idea. This will probably trigger the majority of this forum, but I don't really know much about American history. I could have an educated guess on this though.
I hate to do this, but I'm going to have to Ask The Audience, final.

All right, then. Let's take a look at what our poll reveal. *question 1-5 bed stops, set brightens up, and Ask the Audience cue plays...*
P10,000 on an American history is what you are asking. Let's help him.

*Ask the Audience results cue plays, q1-5 bed resumes*
A: 48% B: 4% C: 40% D: 8%
48% said Texas, 40% said Alaska, 8% said Michigan, and 4% said Rhode Island. Well, metemeister, the audience might have a knack on that subject. They said Texas, but do you trust them by Texas in vain? Two lifelines remaining, it's your decision to make.

I know it's not a majority, but I did rule out Alaska from the start as I knew that Russia sold it to the US, so it must have been a part of Russia before - not independent.
That leaves Texas, and although it doesn't sound too good, I'm going to make A: Texas my final answer.

*answer turns orange* Sandy would be very angry not knowing that, but she won't because you have P10,000. *answer turns green, audience applause*
Alright, I hope you avoid what happened last time. For the first milestone question, check it out.
Which of these had the most #1 Billboard Hot 100 singles? A: Linkin Park B: Katy Perry C: Justin Timberlake D: The Beatles

|
|
Post by metemeister on Feb 18, 2017 10:46:51 GMT -5
That would be the Beatles, the rest don't seem to really correlate to the Billboards that much.
I can't say I'm exactly sure though, yet I have to save those lifelines for the questions later on.
Therefore, D. Final answer.

*answer turns orange* You just won P20,000! *1,000 pound correct answer plays followed by lights, set turns dark blue*
Right, since you chose Classic, you are 5 questions away from your second milestone, which is P150,000. Here comes Question 6 for P35,000.
*q6 bed plays(2007)*

I'm sure this is something which most people know, as it's been played multiple times by everyone when it was popular
B: Gangnam Style by PSY, final answer.

*q6 final answer plays* You seem pretty know about it. And you did, you won P35,000! *q6 correct answer plays, set brightens to purple and quickly followed by q7 lights bed and goes back to dark blue*
All right, you have two lifelines remaining, 50:50 and Phone-A-Friend. It's starting to look at the jumps, but there are steep drops as well if you made a mistake. Here comes Question 7 for P50,000.
*q7 bed plays(2007)*
Which of the following elements is a non-metal? A: sulfur B: aluminum C: mercury D: boron
|
|
|
Post by metemeister on Feb 19, 2017 23:11:02 GMT -5
Sheesh, I study Chemistry and I know that Aluminium and Mercury are metals. Sulphur definitely isn't.
Therefore, A. Final answer.

*q7 final answer plays* Sulfur, actually, is a solid. Sulfur is CORRECT for P50,000. *q7 correct answer plays, set brightens to purple and quickly followed by q8 lights bed and goes back to dark blue*
Well, you have P50,000 and two lifelines left, 50:50 and Phone-A-Friend. The next one is at the halfway point of winning that jackpot, so think very carefully. Question 8 for P70,000.
*q8 bed plays (2007)*
A person who is in the field of cryptography studies what subject? A: the cold B: solving codes C: mythological creatures D: tooth decay

|
Post by metemeister on Feb 20, 2017 4:30:49 GMT -5
This sounds like a trick question, but what immediately came to mind is that it's about solving codes or decoding.
A would have to be "cryo", C would just be "mythology".
D would just be dentistry, I guess?
Therefore, I will say B. Final answer.

*q8 final answer plays*metemeister, you've just won P70,000! *q8 correct answer plays, set brightens to purple and quickly followed by q9 lights bed and goes back to dark blue*Right, we're in to the six figures now. You have two lifelines remaining, but if you play and get it wrong, you'll lose P50,000. If you're right, it's P100,000. Question number 9 out of 15 for P100,000. *q9 bed plays (2007)*Which of the following is not considered a hazard in golf? A: bunker B: trees C: lake D: river
|

Post by metemeister on Feb 20, 2017 7:49:47 GMT -5
This cannot be real. I play golf on a weekly basis and love playing 18H every Saturday with my coach!
With trees, you get a free drop. With lakes or rivers, you have to either drop after taking a penalty or play where you last hit from.
The bunker is, believe it or not, my favorite - it's not a hazard and it actually helps me get the ball to the green.
My final answer will be A.
