[RPG] Lingo

Might as well give this one a shot.

I've seen the US version of Lingo. I'm currently doing a Millionaire Fans RPG, but I'll play in this one.

Hi, I'm futuregshost, and welcome to the all-new Lingo, where teams could win hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash! Today on team 1 we've got Peachfanclub and Dragonman 2455 , and on team 2, there's petekung and m275abbott ! Welcome to both teams.

Here's how you play lingo. The team in control will have five attempts to guess a mystery word. The length of the word and the beginning letter will be shown to them.


Our computer will then indicate which letters are in the word and which letters are in the right positions.


Guessing the word exactly earns money for the team.


The team that guesses the word correctly will then get to mark two numbers off of their Lingo card, where they attempt to complete a line of five numbers in a row either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. Getting a Lingo earns $500.

If you give a word that doesn't fit, doesn't start with the first letter given, isn't in the dictionary, or take too long, control will pass to the other team.

In addition, if your team is not in control but you are certain you know the word, you can hit the buzzer in front of you and immediately take one guess. If it's right, your score thus far is doubled; if not, it's cut in half. Each team can only do this once per game.

That's one way to start a game! I can't believe that. Well, you get to pick two balls anyways. In the hopper, there are three red balls that will make your turn end and three green balls that will allow you to pick again. If you pull all three green balls by the end of the game, you win the jackpot which increases by $500 for every word anyone gets right during the game. There's also a ? ball that lets you take any number you want. Peachfanclub , you get the first pick.
