Its been about 2 years since the Indian version of who wants to be a millionaire hasn't returned yet well the good news is that would be on air from 28 august 2017 , in this thread the format of the show is explained

Format :-
The show will be aired for an edition of 6 weeks (30 episodes)
Timings :-
Monday to Friday 9pm only on SET INDIA
Changes:-
Only 7 questions to be asked + a jackpot question of 7 Crores
Phone a friend replaced with video a friend
Expert advice replaced with joodidar , a lifeline to call your partner to answer the question , same like the +1 in the us
Audience poll replaced with
Where call someone from audience randomly to answer the question
Only 1 hour each episode to avoid the unwanted drama
Twist :-
After crossing the 1 crore mark , the contestants would be given an option whether to play for 7 crores of not , if they choose to , then they would be stripped of all their lifelines and compulsory to answer
If the give a wrong answer their prize money would drop to a certain level
