This is quite a simple one, I'll go for B, final answer.

*Q3 Final Plays* It's the right answer, you've got £2,000. *Q3 Win plays, lights come up, set turns orange, audience applauds* *Q4 Lights Down plays, set turns blue* Going along very nicely so far, but you do still have all of your lifelines should you need them. Question 4 is for £5,000, take your time if you need it. *Q4 Background music plays*

I'll choose C, since it's a famous painting, no wonder people made a movie, books or documentary, etc. about it, and that's my final answer.

*Q4 Final Plays* *I look down at my screen, and then up at @nhoxxinh * Well, yes the Mona Lisa is a very famous painting, but so are the other three. Also, if I'm remembering this right, the actual book is not just about a painting, so please tell me, why are you so confident that the answer you've given me is the correct one? Post ------------- I did say this to both contestants before the game began, but I need all answers after the £1,000 mark to have a coherent reasoning behind them. Thanks! ------------- End

You know, it's just a guess, I was hoping I'll do it right.

Post -------------------- I saw your original post you made justifying your answer, but because you have decided that you wanted to delete it and try something else, even after I have specifically asked you not to edit or change your answers. You should also know that guesses in RPGs are very frowned upon, as unfortunately not everyone can be trusted when they say 'guess', as it can often mean 'Well, I wasn't sure, so I searched the answer and made it seem like I didn't'. Whilst they may not necessarily be the case, I am quite sure it is, seeing as you changed from a reasonable explanation to a blind guess.
The incident has been reported to the staff, and the game will be placed on hold for the time being until a solution is found.
Sorry for the inconvenience to everyone involved, but I do really feel this needs to be sorted, seeing as you seem to have gone through 3 guesses of your four answers so far. The game will hopefully continue soon. -------------------- End
*I look at @nhoxxinh , puzzled*
It was a blind guess? Well, okay then...
One of those answers is worth £5,000, the other three would lose you £1,000. Find out which, after the break, don't go away!
*Rave Into Commercial plays, Audience applaud*

Post ———————— I have a few different thoughts here, so bear with me. 1) It’s not technically correct to say that guesses are frowned upon. Contestants in real life can make guesses depending on how much they’re willing to risk. The problem in my eyes is excessive guessing, which indicates to me that the player is either cheating or not playing the game realistically. 2) I take cheating very seriously in RPGs. I’ve taken disciplinary action based on members’ conduct in the RPG. But two things that I always consider are how much evidence there is of cheating and how significant the incident was. In this case, this is the fourth question and the answer is fairly obvious. I’m willing to accept that @nhoxxinh would have been able to make an educated guess even if he didn’t know the answer with certainty. 3) As much as we strive for realism, the RPGs are still games and the goal of participating should be to have fun. We all need to accept that an online trivia game does not take place in a controlled environment. It’s not worth stopping the RPG for every little thing that happens because that ruins the experience for both the participants and the audience. So, in conclusion, @nhoxxinh please put a little more effort into playing a realistic game and millionaireloveruk please try to maximize fun and minimize interruptions. Thanks! ———————— End

Post -------------- I feel that it would be appropriate for me to now extend my apologies to @nhoxxinh , the Staff and everybody watching, and playing, in this RPG. In hindsight, I feel I completely overreacted. It was wrong of me to stop the RPG on what was essentially a weak gut feeling. I'd also like to extend a personal, public apology to @nhoxxinh . I am sorry that I accused you of cheating. After seeing RegisFan 's post, I now realise that whilst you have seemingly guessed your way though so far, the game is designed so that some basic knowledge can quite easily get you this far in Millionaire. I hope that now we can all move past this and continue with the RPG. One thing I would like to know, @nhoxxinh , is why you deleted your original post. I saw what you had written, and I would have accepted that as the justification I was looking for. It's of no major importance anymore, but I would like to stress, to aid with the game's sense of reasoning, please don't edit your answers. Once again, I sincerely apologise for my actions. Let's get on with the game! -------------- End *Rave Out of Commercial plays, audience applauds* *Camera pans down, set turns blue* Welcome back to the second part of tonight's 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?', where just before the break, @nhoxxinh gave me his answer to his £5,000 question, which was this: *Q4 Final Answer Drumroll plays* He decided to go with C: Mona Lisa as his Final Answer, and I can now finally tell you, that that was indeed the correct answer! You've won £5,000! *Q4 Win Plays, audience cheers, lights come up and set turns orange* *Q5 Lights Down plays, set turns blue* Yeah, The Starry Night was by Van Gogh, The Scream was actually by Edvard Munch, and American Gothic, as most US Millionaire fans, and especially Nancy Christy, will know was painted by Grant Wood. Anyway. You have £5,000. You still have all three of your lifelines intact, and are three away from fifty grand. You're doing very, very well so far, let's hope you can keep that up. Take a look at your ten thousand pound question. Take as long as you need, and you can walk away if you want to, even after using all three of your lifelines. This is question 5, good luck: *Q5 Rave Background music plays*

This is quite a tricky one since I never watched the film, but I'm going to use 50:50.

To be honest I think I would be using a lifeline here as well. Anyway, Computer, please take away two random wrong answers, leaving the right answer, and one remaining wrong answer. *50:50 SFX plays* So, it's either Herb Brooks or Don Shula. One of those is worth ten grand. You can still Phone-A-Friend, and/or Ask the Audience, and even after that you could still take £5,000 home with you. Tell me, what are you thinking? Personally, I don't have a clue, but do have any sort of idea on what it could be?

I still have no idea, to be honest. I'll take a shot of the dark and say A, and that's my final answer.

*Q5 Final Plays* You had £5,000. You could've Phoned A Friend, or Asked this Audience. You didn't need to though, it's the right answer, you've got ten grand! *Q5 Win plays, lights come up, set turns orange, audience applauds* *Q6 Lights Down plays, set turns blue* Apparently the film follows the true story of the US 1980 Ice Hockey team at the Lake Placid Winter Olympics, where the team won gold, although no one really expected them to. It also says here on my screen that Brooks was played by Kurt Russell, if you're interested. Now. You're just 7 correct answers away from winning one million pounds, and you still have 2 lifelines left. Question number six is for £20,000. I must remind you here that an incorrect answer would cost you nine of the ten thousand you have at this moment. Take your time, here it comes: *Q6 Background music plays* *As I finish reading the question, some of the audience begin to laugh* *I look down at my screen and then up at the camera* Are we sure that this is... supposed to be here? *Audience laugh* I'm being told that the answers are what makes this question worth twenty grand, let's have a look at them then. *I reread the question* That does make a lot more sense now. *Audience laugh* Anyway, it's worth £20,000.

Welp, I didn't expected the answers to be odd. I'll just ask the audience.

Right, okay Audience, @nhoxxinh could really use your help. This is the question:
*Q6 Background music stops, lights come up, set turns orange, ATA Start plays*
What is the capital of the United States? Now A on your keypads is The Home of the Magic. B is The Home of the Nets. C is The Home of the Thunder, and finally D is The Home of the Wizards. It's worth £20,000, audience, so if you're ready, using either A, B, C or D, all vote now!
*ATA Voting cue plays, lights flash around the set.*
(ATA Results pending)
