Regards from new series of WWTBAM! Dariusz Błażejewski Wow, awesome. That's super cool you got the opportunity to sit in Jeremy's Millionaire hotseat! (With no electronic devices allowed, I realise one of the crew would've snapped the pic of you there afterwards.)
Me I went to dock10, MediaCity over the weekend too. It was a fantastic experience, and my first time attending a recording of WWTBAM. Very professionally made and the studio is really modern and impressive. Jeremy is such a charismatic host and brings such personality to the show even when he talks to the audience off camera. Of course any events of recordings we cannot disclose before broadcast later in the year, but I might post a general write-up summary of the experience sometime. I'm sure you had a great time too!

That's right! It was a fantastic experience! There are so many differences in the recording of the Polish and British versions that it's hard to count. I was able to talk to a few people from the production and capture the moment (I've posted a photo here on the forum, but it doesn't show up - although most of you have probably seen it somewhere else anyway).

That's an aspect which fascinates me too for the production of various iterations. It was really cool to not only watch the recording and seeing what unfolded with the gameplay, but also watch how the show is made. I found myself throughout just taking a moment to appreciate the studio with the lighting, and even sat in the audience it felt like a behind the scenes experience. To anyone who is even a small fan of WWTBAM it's something I think we can truly recommend.
-----
And yeah, your pic was showing previously, but it doesn't appear now due to an "URL signature expired" error. I think that means the URL isn't static on Facebook, so it keeps changing to require something else like an access code. If you do decide to update it, I'll edit the quote in my prior post.

This simply means that Clarkson is being replaced as the host and the show itself won’t be canceled, right?
I couldn’t imagine anyone else in the host’s chair besides Chris Tarrant, but yet Clarkson did a really good job. What a shame.

"When asked whether ITV may be in discussions about potentially continuing the show, which is produced by Sony Pictures Television’s Stellify Media, down the road, [Carolyn] McCall (ITV boss) simply shrugged. (Sony declined to comment on this story.)" Both ITV and Sony are uncertain about this, so is it possible that there will be no new season later (or they will return on the 30th anniversary)?

As of right now, all we know is Clarkson's commitment to the show and probably ITV as a whole, and we haven't really got the "Final Answer" from ITV and Sony. Therefore, Millionaire in the UK could be produced with a new host, or axed. We just have to wait, for more official details.

UPDATE:
ITV released a statement after false reports that Millionaire had been 'axed'. "...for the avoidance of doubt neither Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? nor Jeremy Clarkson have been cancelled."

Regards from new series of WWTBAM! Oh, has the new series started? Just to clarify this as I know the answer... When dariusb posted there, he included an image of himself from inside the Millionaire UK studio (dock10, MediaCity) when the production team kindly allowed. That image has since disappeared due to it being on Facebook and not working with some sort of access code in the URL for the image. The new upcoming series was recorded over the 2nd week of February. When I attended a recording myself on one of the days, there was no indication when it would air. However, I recall reading it's scheduled to be broadcast sometime midway through the year. ----- Back to the news (or not-so-news) from today... With no current schedule for future recordings, it's easy for mainstream media to claim a cancellation twisted out of context. The fact Jeremy has come out promptly to personally deny the reports makes quite a strong statement I believe. He did this very swiftly today. The articles appeared to be copying initial supposed breaking news, to make headlines for themselves. ITV wouldn't be allowed to speculate on the future confirmation of new series, so to say "no future commitments" is basically standard protocol IMO. After reading some comments on the articles (and on Jeremy's tweet), all this makes me wonder whether the public support could actually help Jeremy keep his Millionaire job. For the benefit of us as fans of the show, many of us do want him to stay. I for one would be disappointed to no longer see him present Millionaire, as I believe he's been a fantastic addition and key to the UK show's revival. Also from my recent audience attendance, something which struck me is how much Jeremy adores presenting the show. I could tell from my vantage point in the audience (even clearer than portrayed on TV), how he highly enjoys his role. And for supporters of WWTBAM this perspective is what we're focussed on.

I don't appreciate people spreading rumors about Jeremy departing from Millionaire when it hasn't happened yet. I mean, we all know Jeremy's had a controversial history, been opinionated. He was often in the news for the wrong reasons during Top Gear, so it's not like ITV was unaware of what they were getting when they hired him. He's done a great job and would like him to stay, but this doesn't do anyone any favors by spreading this stuff.

It’s strange that this story popped up in Variety, of all places. And they haven’t issued a retraction despite denials from ITV and Jeremy. Even the comment about the executive “shrugging” when questioned seems off. The whole article seems like a hit job.
I’m glad that Jeremy and ITV jumped in to set the record straight quickly and that Clarkson will seemingly get to continue as host. He is truly one of the best hosts the show has ever had.

Hey guys, I am sorry if this has been asked recently before but I haven't seen anything after searching. I am wondering if anybody has a google drive or some way to access the recent seasons of UK Millionaire. I would also be interested in a google drive of US Millionaire. I have seen posts here before with episodes but am unable to find anything now. Thanks!

Hi wwtb3am, I found how TruelyMostWanted previously has posted links to the episodes, but each of them on previous pages I've tried are "not found" now. It might be something which can only be shared publicly for a limited time, due to storage/copyright considerations. Maybe someone can provide clarification on this though.
