Edit: forgot to mention the graphics, that's another thing they really should have imported from the US version. They look slightly off...  I agree with you there. Some of the things are out of the silver borders |

How do the Brits of this forum find the questions from the Sun playthrough in terms of difficulty? As pretty as everything looks and sounds (little things aside), I want to see big winners, first and foremost. I'd prefer the producers to use the budget for the winnings instead of the electricity bill.

I don't think the Sun playthrough is necessarily representative (they are tougher than you'd expect at that level) but the two questions on the ITV Granada video (the cricket one and the QWERTY - seems like they're in that 1k-32k stretch) aren't too bad.

Am I the only one who thinks that the monitors look off a bit? Like, I feel like if they were using the separated style like they are, they really should've either made them farther apart or shorter. Or just done what they did in KBC and have them double cross. Other than that and the ATH cue, though, I have to say I'm VERY excited for tomorrow.

Some comments are pretty toxic. I'm thinking about how many ppl will watch it. It seems as there is an group that doesnt like Clarkson at all. I know a game that we could play  normally i do this with friends for the german one. "TV Ratings Poker". How many viewers will this episode tonight have? |

No, but seriously, I think it'll do quite well, regardless of how many people despise Jeremy Clarkson. I swear, people are way too quick to judge nowadays. I honestly think he'll do great, being at how we've seen the trailers and stuff like that.

Reminds me of the (as I call it) "New Doctor Who" phenomena. Every few seasons, the main character of the show "Doctor Who", The Doctor, dies and "regenerates" (In a nutshell, he revives himself at the cost of changing appearance, traits, character and more.), so a new actor (or actress now) is hired to replace the old one. After the announcement of the new actor/actress, people get all toxic and stuff about it. However, after seeing him/her in action, all toxic comments go away, and people fall in love with the character and the actor/actress. Aaand when the time comes for another regeneration, people get all sad about the actor/actress going. And as the new actor/actress is announced, the cycle repeats.

Just got out the taping. Obviously can't say anything as to what actually goes down but awesomely surreal to be on the set in person, I thought Jeremy actually did a brilliant job, and very much looking forward to seeing how it all ends up over the next seven nights, as well as how it's edited together. Very interesting to see how, aside from the game itself, it's very much in flux editing wise. Anyway, will be intently watching the premiere on the train back....and this was a rather brilliant experience overall.

Well, it felt... like a first episode. 85% there, 15% unpolished. It was an enjoyable show that was rough around the edges. About what I expected honestly, though admittedly there were mistakes where I'd not have expected them. They messed up the wrong answer sound effect, somehow. Only once, though.

I like Jeremy as a host. He could have gone slightly easier on the first contestant. His nerves seemed to be compounded by Jeremy saying he wasn't doing that well.
