Oktoberfest is coming so I figured out 'What if I pick up some pocket change to spend there?' so here I am!

(Note: I believe that this version offers Risk mode. I know you are the new host now, but if you're offering it, I am taking it)

I believe that it's A amusement park, and that's final.

I know it's not carrots and I know it's not celery.

But what constitutes a broccoli and a peas?

A broccoli can be the huge broccoli that is formed by many smaller broccoli or it could be the small broccoli.

A pea can be a single bean or a long pea pod that contains a lot of peas.

Ok, here is my judgement.

The word peas is plural, so I assume this refers to the long pea pod that contains peas instead of a singular pea.

The word broccoli is singular, so I assume this refers to the small broccoli instead of the big broccoli that consists of smaller broccolis.

So the question is, which one is smaller? a peas pod or a broccoli?

Unless I have been misjudging all time long, a peas pod is definitely longer than broccoli, so I am going to say B is smaller than peas pod so Broccoli final answer?

To be honest, this sort of question can very easily be overanalysed just because it’s quite ambiguous and difficult to determine the answer. The question says which is usually the smallest, which is problematic in itself because there is no definitive size of vegetables. Although they have general sizes, someone could live in an area where they have unusually large carrots for example, hence potentially making their answer different to the ‘correct’ one, even though they may not be wrong based on their own experiences. Also, the question makes no reference as to how the correct answer is smaller, as it may be length, volume, mass etc. I’m addition, as realdeo points out, the question is vague as in what it refers to as each option, especially with broccoli as a floret can continually be made by breaking larger broccolis down into smaller ones, and peas could refer to a pea plant or a pea pod - it doesn’t make it clear.

This isn’t a criticism of millionairenut’s question writing skills at all. In fact, his questions in his MasterMind RPG have been very good so far, difficult, but good. The problem with writing questions about Millionaire is there can be no ambiguity whatsoever, and so questions such as this one can cause problems. The actual premise of the question I understand, but the way it is written is too vague in several respects, so I personally believe it should be replaced, but I’ll leave this decision to the admins.

This response was more trying to tell @nhoxxinh that it’s very easy to ‘overanalyse’ this question. Not to mention, there was no real reason for his snarky comment in the first place really.

First of all, I would like to send my condolences to ThePasch. Losing a pet is absolutely heartbreaking. Certainly he must have been devastated and I am so, so, sorry she had to go through with that. His absence in this RPG makes it completely understandable, then.

Anyway, I support throwing this question out, as I was going for peas, since a pea is usually smaller than the rest of them. That's my fault, then. I also wrote a faulty question in the first one. I have to get better and that's one me. I know if and when I am the question writer again for another RPG, I will get better.

So, if an admin is willing to allow a replacement question, I am for it.
