so in this video here from the Greek edition of Hot Seat, the player clearly says “το άλφα” meaning “A” and locks it down just before the time ends. Do you think it’s fair that the producers didn’t lock down the answer? I actually have trouble telling if she really was out of time or it’s just a scam from the notoriously failed production of the greek Hot Seat. |

From what I've heard, she said her answer before the time ran out... So the backstage crew should have been lock her answer. By the same way, yes, It's unfair.

She should have been brought back as a contestant, in ny opinion. I'd love to know what happened afterward. Most contestants who get a raw deal are allowed back on.

Seeing the like-to-dislike ratio, viewers are agreeing, too. And by the look on her face, you know she knows she beat the clock.
I wonder if there was a clause in the rules of this version, where if the timer expires at any point, even if you already said "final answer," the game is still forfeited. Which would be a really terrible excuse. She deserved to have her answer accepted.

If that happened in say USA, the show would be taken off the air and the producers would be sued. SHAMBOLIC.
