It wasn’t the first search engine for sure, I believe that was launched in 1994, but it would have made sense for Google to be founded just four years after whatever the first one was. I remember that it was conceived after its proprietor claimed that it could search a “googol” pieces of information, which is how it got its name. But, since I can’t really rule any of the other options out, I’m going to use the 50/50. |

Well, it narrowed down to Yahoo! and Google. Mind if I tell you that if you get this one right, you will have P70,000. If you're wrong, however, you will lose P30,000 and leave with P20,000. If you can't go risky, you might use a Phone-A-Friend.

Interesting. Google is still up there, and I thought I remember reading somewhere, some time ago, that Google was founded in 1998. Strange considering I also remember reading that you couldn’t use the search engine in the year 2000, but again, that’s understandable in my mind. Look at YouTube, for instance. The company was founded in February of 2005, but the first video wasn’t posted until April, leading me to believe that the website wasn’t launched until then.

Oh, how lovely. I can rule out Daniel Day-Lewis. I just recently asked a question about Best Actor winners in which I revealed that he had won the Oscar three times. Of the other three, my instinct is saying Tom Hanks, simply because it seems like the question writer went through an extensive search to find two more such actors... *the audience laughs because I’m going the way of Ogi Ogas* and the ones they came up with just so happened to be from way back when. But again, I don’t know for sure, because the Oscars are not my cup of tea, so I’m going to have to Phone a Friend here.

Anyway, it seems your friend didn't help at all. His advice is to walk out right now with P70,000, but it's your decision and yours alone.

Wow. Quite rude, if you ask me. For hosting this wonderful RPG, you shouldn’t have to deal with that crap. Actually, now that I think about it, when I was looking through the list of Best Actor winners when I wrote up that question, I paid a little attention to how many Oscars some high-profile stars like Tom Hanks had won, and I know Tom Hanks won at least two, I believe for Apollo 13 and Forrest Gump. I cannot think of any other movie for which he might have won Best Actor. You know, this RPG is going to end soon, but I would like petekung to win a lot of money nonetheless. I’m going to go with D: Tom Hanks... and that’s my Final Answer. Post -------------------- After I locked in my answer, I took the liberty of re-researching the Best Actor winners. Apparently Daniel Day-Lewis was the only actor out of the four choices to win the Oscar three times. The question specifically asked to identify the actor that had not won it three times... but seeing as neither of the other three choices had accomplished this feat, that means there were three correct answers. What do we do? millionairenut, you wrote this question, I take it? I noticed in the sign-up post that you said you had written a faulty question in the previous RPG. Writing two sets of questions for an RPG can be daunting — I’ve taken on that task before — but it is imperative that you double-check your facts before sending them to the host. I'm not sure I understand the issue. I asked in the private message to jceurovision who has won the Academy Award for Best Actor a record three times? I have the private message to back it up. I do not see how this is a faulty question.

Post ---------------------------- I completely mistyped the question worth P100,000. I double checked the second set of RPG questions that millionairenut sent to me, and showed no signs of error. The question stated, "Which of the following has won the Academy Award for Best Actor a record three times?", to which I made a typographical error by adding a word "not" in between the words "has" and "won".
