Well I know it isn’t Green Day or Blink-182. I have heard of a band called Rush, but I haven’t heard of Primus. Like I said, I’d like to keep my Lifelines for the third tier if possible, so I think I’m going to go with Rush simply because I’ve heard of them. Rush, Final Answer. *Answer turns orange* You're right for $8,000. *Answer turns green, audience applause* We're going for $16,000. You still have all of your lifelines. Your strategy of not using them has paid off so far. Have a look at your $16,000 question. In the standard tuning configuration, both the top and bottom strings of a guitar will play what note when strummed? A: E B: F C: G D: D

Post -------------------- Just so we can avoid any confusion, that last question was actually worth $8000. The contestant is going for $16,000 now. -------------------- End

There’s one answer I know it can’t be, as a standard tuned guitar doesn’t have a F string on it. I know there’s a G and a D and an E on a standard guitar. I have a feeling that the E is on there twice as I think the G and the D notes are in the middle... However, a lot of money is at stake, so I think it’s time to use my 50:50, please.

*the 50/50 sting plays as the computer removes two incorrect answers, leaving the following*

Well, you said you wanted to save your lifelines on the upper-tier, but your hand was forced here. Does the 50:50 do anything for you, or do you need to use another lifeline?

Yeah, I’m ninety-five percent sure that a standard guitar doesn’t have an F string, so I’m gonna go with the double note being E, Final Answer.

Yeah, I’m ninety-five percent sure that a standard guitar doesn’t have an F string, so I’m gonna go with the double note being E, Final Answer. *Answer turns orange* You didn't want to use a lifeline at this stage, but you decided to do so. It paid off. You've just won $16,000. *Answer turns green, audience applauds* You still have those two lifelines if you need them. Hopefully you won't and hopefully you'll be able to use them on upper tier questions, but as you know, there are no upper tier questions if you don't answer this next one correctly. This is for $32,000. You drop $15,000 if you answer incorrectly. You can use a lifeline. You can use both, if you wish. Here is your $32,000 question. Before they changed it to Paranoid, allegedly due to the ongoing Vietnam War, the original title of Black Sabbath‘s breakthrough 1970 album was what? A: War Pigs B: Iron Man C: Planet Caravan D: Fairies Wear Boots

Well honestly the only one of those titles that I would think would create some backlash would be War Pigs. I know people tend to get quite proud and protective over their soldiers so that would probably get some backlash for an album title. I fail to see how Iron Man or Planet Caravan could possibly offend or annoy anyone about the Vietnam War, so I’m ruling those two out. Fairies Wear Boots could potentially give across a similar message to War Pigs but I think I’m going to take a bit of a risk and say War Pigs, Final Answer.

It has your name on it for $32,000. *Rips it back from him* But we don't want to give you that! We'd love to give you this next one for $64,000. You might as well play it. You're guaranteed $32,000. It's a free question and you do not lose anything. You said you wanted to use those lifelines for the upper tier questions. You can still ask the audience and phone a friend if you need to. You are five questions away from winning $1 Million. Question No. 11 of a possible 15 is this. In 2016, the second-heaviest known chemical element was given what U.S. state-inspired name? A: Floridium B: Arizonium C: Coloradon D: Tennessine

I think I know this actually. In fact I’m almost certain that it’s Tennessine, so I’m going to go for that please, Final Answer.

We're getting into real serious territory here. Question No. 11 of 15 is for $125,000. You drop back down to $32,000 if you're wrong. You still have ask the audience and phone a friend. Here we go for $125,000. In the Star Wars film series, George Lucas did NOT serve as the director for which of these episodes? A: Attack of the Clones B: Revenge of the Sith C: A New Hope D: The Empire Strikes Back

I don’t really have much of an idea with this question. I’m definitely going to use a lifeline here, so I think I will Phone-A-Friend please, and see what futuregshost thinks about this one. I’m leaning towards The Empire Strikes Back, but for no real reason other than that would be my guess.
