Since the 20th Anniversary of WWTBAM, the world did not only see the classic lifelines return to the game, but was also introduced to a new lifeline called "Ask the Host". However, we did indeed receive exclusive lifeline in the past, such as "Switch the Question", "Ask the Expert", "Double Dip", "+1" and "Cut the Question" from the US versions. Some of the international versions have adapted some of these lifelines: for example, the Russian version of the show introduced "Three Wise Men" back in the late 2000's, but later on, it was removed and replaced by "Double Dip" for future formats. And there were, of course, many other international formats which have indeed adapted a lot of the lifelines introduced in the US or UK formats. But what lifelines should be in international versions of the show in the future? Well, let's find out:
(+1, Ask the Host, Cut the Question and Ask the Expert)
What do you guys think about this topic? Which of these lifelines should be implemented into international versions of WWTBAM? And how do you think they will influence the format in case they'll be added?

Cut the Question because... It's more fitting than any of those mentioned, that's what I think. Ask the Host... well, it depends on either the host's knowledge or his/her sense of humor. (Not everyone can be Jeremy Clarkson LOL) There's no need to have +1 when you still have PAF. It would be like Double Dip and 50:50 appearing together. Ask the Expert... I don't know why I think it shouldn't be implemented.

Personally, I would like to see "Ask the Host" and "Ask the Expert" implemented in international versions, since they seem to be the most beneficial ones for not only the contestants, but the international formats, as well. Now, I would like to ask one more question: Should there be some sort of requirement in order to use the lifelines (for example, unlocking them after reaching the second guaranteed sum)? After all, they weren't implemented into the international versions before...

After all, they weren't implemented into the international versions before... My answer is Yes, in order not to make the game boring. Having all lifelines available at the beginning doesn't make me interested. There should be something... "mysterious" and "challenging". But for me, unloking them after getting the first safety net right is enough, not necessarily the second. And now I know why Ask the Expert isn't fitting... Sometimes it's hard to find an expert.(Kinda stupid reason, eh?)

I am a fan of the classic lifelines - I do not like combining. But Ask The Host in the UK fits and honestly I like the lifeline. I do not think, however, that in any other local version this lifeline would appear.
Compared to 50:50 - Double Dip does not make any sense.
In my opinion, Switch Te Question is one of the weakest lifelines, which, instead of helping, can also lead to an even worse situation.

May I suggest a lifeline from the Philippine version?
People Speak - The audience members that know the answer to a question will get to stand up, then the contestant will choose 3 people, the 3 people give their answers, and if any of the three chose the correct answer, the will win or split 20,000 Pesos.
