Nixon is the only one to resign and that is correct for $7,500. I think you just taught everyone in the studio a very valuable lesson: Do your homework. Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan were both elected in 1977 and 1981 respectively, and Gerald Ford would then become President immediately after Nixon resigned in 1974. But here's an interesting fact, Gerald Ford was never elected either President or Vice President from the time Spiro Agnew stepped down from the Vice Presidency to the time Nixon resigned from the Presidency.
