You got it, you have $1,000. *Q5 win plays* Well done. Great start. You are now guaranteed $1,000. Whatever happens from here, you will be going home with at least a grand at the moment. You still have all your lifelines in tact. Question 6 is for $2,000 now.

Probably because I’m a Brit, but I have never heard of this. I could take a guess, and I don’t like to use a Lifeline so early but I think I’m going to have to Ask the Audience please.

Well, it's a good job I didn't guess then. I was leaning towards B, simply because of people normally wearing black to Remembrance events so I thought maybe that would be the answer, but clearly it isn't. 53% isn't huge, but it is a majority, and so for that reason I'm going to go with the Audience on this one and say C: Labor Day, Final Answer.

Let's lock in C *Final answer plays* You had to use a lifeline early on, but that's what they're for. But you used it at the right time! Correct for $2,000! *Q6 correct plays* Good job. You now have $2,000 and two lifelines still in the bank. Let's keep going. Question 7 for $4,000.

Post --------- I've seen something in the Shoutbox about this question apparently being used before. I don't know if that's the case, but I'll answer it anyway and if it needs to be replaced then disregard my answer. --------- End
That would be A: Pokémon, and I think I'll make that my Final Answer.

Post --------------------------------------- I was unaware of that. I merely got the questions that were sent to me from the question writer, my apologies for any inconvenience. We'll continue on to save time for the moment -------------------------- End Lock in A. You had $2,000. You now have $4,000! We're on a very good roll at the moment. You have $4,000 in your pocket now. You can still go 50:50 and you can Phone A Friend, and. Seven away from a million. Question 8 for eight grand now. Will drop three grand if you miss. Question. In geometry, what is the name given to the longest side of a right triangle? A: Tangent B: Hypotenuse C: Diameter D: Perimeter

I'm pretty sure that that's the hypotenuse, B, Final Answer.

*Q8 final answer plays* You know, most people say while they were at school, they wondered what was the point of doing specific types of maths. Then there's times like this, when you wish you knew...... And you did! You have $8,000! Great job, let's keep it going. You are in a very prime position at the moment. You're 6 away from a million and you still have two lifelines remaining. Next question here is for $16,000.

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty certain that Mr. Rochester is in Jane Eyre. Seeing that I've already used up one Lifeline, I think I'm going to take a confident punt at C, Jane Eyre, Final Answer.

*Q9 Final Answer plays* You took a guess on this one, knowing that you would drop $7,000 if you missed. ............... It paid off! You have $16,000! *Q9 correct plays* We're getting to the crunch period now. Probably one of the most important questions yet. Get this one right, and you'll be guranteed to walk away from the studio tonight with at least $32,000 and you still have those two lifelines. Good luck here's the question for a guaranteed 32k.

Hmm... Well, I do have an idea about this one. I'm definitely not sure enough to go for it though as it stands, so I think I will use my 50:50 please, and hopefully the one I think it might be will still be there afterwards.

Yeah, I thought it might have been North Carolina before the 50:50, so this has pretty much just confirmed by suspicions. Again, not 100% certain but I'm gonna save that Phone-A-Friend for later hopefully and say A: North Carolina, Final Answer.

*Q10 final plays* You said you weren't sure.... You used 50:50 and still went with North Carolina..... Your guess was enough! You've got $32,000 guranteed! Great job again. You are now guaranteed to go home with at least $32,000. Just five away from a million, and you still have your Phone A Friend, no pressure to them by the way *audience laughs* Your next question is for $64,000. You might as well play it. Also a very important question this one because you're one away from your target you mentioned at the beginning of the show.
