Exciting news! & the play along app sounds interesting! " And the new “Millionaire” will also introduce a live, play-along app that will allow viewers to compete to win the same amount of money that celebrities are playing for on the show"

I think he was quoting something that someone else said, not saying that the app was new info.

I know what he was trying to say, they quoted that in every single article.

I just meant that he was remarking that it sounds exciting, not trying to say that that is new information.

I wonder when they will be shooting these episodes. Traditionally, the prime time shows were recorded a few days (or less) before broadcast. I’m curious if they will keep that model to stay topical or if they’ll shoot far in advance. Also, I wonder if the Las Vegas set is still intact to use or if they’ll move the production to New York or LA. We will have to keep an eye out for casting and taping news. I also hope they shoot in New York. I feel the audience reception would be much stronger, and that energy is needed for the revival to be a success. The excitement needs to translate to television audiences at home for us to get another new season. This is an issue I had with post Meredith syndicated episodes. IMO, the excitement didn't seem to be there, and the audience wasn't excited/loud enough. I also wonder if they will reuse any of the Las Vegas set parts and which ones they would use. Personally, I hope they build a new set.

Well I'd rather build a new set over using that old one. They should go for a studio similar to the one in the UK, ABC can pull it off if they want to.

I'd like to see a set designed like the original, and also the higher-tier questions seriously need to tone down those lights. Where the heck is the ambiance and atmosphere if you have those lights blazing high on the $100,000+ questions?
The fact that you can even SEE the audience on the million dollar question is NOT even excusable by any means.

If they use the Vegas set they at least should make the lighting dramatic again. And I agree; high-tier questions had way too bright lighting in the 2010s.
