So, a teacher at my school tested positive for CV-19, which meant that I, and the other people, have to go back to studying online for two weeks - which, amazingly, meant that I could carry on with my work on PowerPoint, being secretive, as ever! 🤣
It gave me the chance to work on some things which I hadn't got round to constructing fully, like what I'm about to show you here. I had found reference of the French set from 2008, where they started using the blue neon lights and USA-inspired display screen, months back, but I couldn't quite work on it through my phone, because it's not so simple with the limited tools and things you normally have on desktop unavailable... although it isn't, if you are working on your mum's laptop, that is!
Anyways, I decided to fuse together the French studio's set-up with the current British studio, albeit without the audience stands, since that would make things ten times easier for me (this is what happens if you love the LED screens XD). It proved to be a rather enjoyable task, recreating most of the reference, both in terms of objects, lighting and colouring, and piecing together all the lighting stages with different varying colours, although it certainly took up my time, I have to admit!
However, it was pretty much worth it, when I got the first slide completed - the friends who were sent the first photos of the normal lighting and FFF stage pretty much loved it, so that made me feel really happy with how much I had put into this work, although I wonder what you people think about it...
The lights and the background are worth giving credit to FiMoKu for, since he personally made them for me, although don't go trying to ask me to ask him to send it to everyone here!
😂
By the way, if you are wondering how I achieved the different colours of such background, I put the file into a site called Ezgif, using the Effects page, tuned the hue to the colour that was needed, turned the saturation down to 0, and, as we Brits say, Bob's your uncle!
The funny thing is, about the lights, I found that I could change the colours of the main gobos, which was really handy, since it meant that I prevented having to ask FiMo for some ready-made ones in the shades of colours I wanted - all I had to do was follow what he already did in the properties boxes, and things went on from there.
Anyways, I hope you people like it, and as usual, comments and suggestions will be taken into account. I will also provide a description for what stages the set is at, for each photo, just in case you're confused...

Edit: 22nd October
Online school has been over for about a week now, but I forgot to say that I updated the set to completion, and changed things around, with the set, by adding a video floor and respective logo on the video wall...
FiMoKu kindly supplied me with the video floor presentation for a different set creation, and I realised I could change things around to make the floor needed for the set fusion.
