The way they use the 2001 US theme though...meh. That could have been done better. They have basically looped a portion of it. And the end seems to have a quick fade out. Yep, I thought they could have used the final part for the host entrance at least.

Does anyone else think the new graphics look like the KBC9 graphics?

I dunno, it seems to me like an unneccessary middle step in what should be a simple process of getting into the hot seat. If this supplants the original Fastest Finger round, we're going to have a problem.

Absolutely unnecessary and redundant to have a separate "Fastest finger first" show with different host. Fastest finger first should remain part of original Millionaire

Absolutely unnecessary and redundant to have a separate "Fastest finger first" show with different host. Fastest finger first should remain part of original Millionaire i think there is a common misunderstanding there.. Who said that it will be gone from the main show?? I mean cmon... A series usually takes up between 8 and like 13 episodes. And there are usually like 2-3 contestants in a single episode. And since we only have 5 Fastest-Finger winners... Theyre are probably done in Episode 2 or 3... Well.. depending on how good they played the main game. And then what? new Contestants with the regular schedule and the regular show. Of course. What else?

I like the show but 7 repetitive fastest finger questions in a row are a little boring. Also, I'm not a fan of the fact you can go to the head to head and keep winning it (like Helen in the first episode) and potentially lose the whole thing to someone who hasn't done well all show just like that; there should be some sort of incentive for each time you've done head to head when it comes down to the final one. My fix for the show: 1) Make it a 30-minute show. 2) Best of 5 instead of Best of 7. 3) The winner of the head-to-head wins. No need to defend. 4) Two head-to-heads per show, two winners per show.

Agree, the show feels just so egregious and overblown, especially for a show that's a glorified FFF round with next-to-nothing besides a place on Millionaire being offered. Not even something token like, maybe, an additional grand or two, let alone a bigger prize.

Well, I'll tell you my opinion clearly: uh, I stopped at the first episode!
Very clearly I know that the other episodes are and will be the same as the first.
Now I ask myself a question: why does "Fastest Finger First" exist in fact? (lol hot question indeed)
In concrete terms, I don't see the point of doing a spin-off, frankly, it's 45 minutes to waste time, now if the principle of the game is to do only on questions of speed, I zap completely. Now they've done it (streaming their spin-offs), they've seen the results on Twitter, so long as they do more for a while.
Hey, did you notice anything in this spin-off? It's amazing that you didn't mention two games that "Questions of Speed" was inspired by. From this spin-off I see a resemblance between the program Questions pour un Champion (Going for Gold) and the Weakest Link. I can understand that understand that you remember more of the first game that I mentioned (because I believe there was only one pilot in the USA, and the English version stopped in 1996 to have had a reboot only in 2008). But as for the Weakest Link, it was obvious when there was a face to face between the two contestants.
Here is my opinion (unfortunately negative) on this spin-off !

Now having a chance to watch, I can see the resemblance to Weakest Link, but it doesn't bother me too much. The thing that does bother me right away is that I can't consider it a true "safety net" if you can fall back to the bottom during the game. I feel bad about Alex getting knocked out for KFC when he changed to Kentucky, as you don't say "Final Answer" on this show...but I felt better after the final klaxon. I liked how Angela did, though I was surprised about her first head-to-head. Not so surprised the second time, and a third match probably would've been anticlimactic. "Stan & Oliver Wright" made me think of The Flying Deuces. I can certainly go for another episode. UPDATE: So I went for the 2nd-4th ones. The Q6/Q11 lose cue in the duel does get rather annoying, even if it's not cut off.
Episode 2: Fun to learn that Seb interviewed the first contestant to get to £125,000. Episode 3: "Chicken." Episode 4: "What's the 8th letter of the English alphabet?" "Safety net." Huh?!

Ha mashed provided that the producer of Qui veut gagner des millions? never has the rights to set up this spin-off in France. We would become the laughingstock of the world, very clearly. Since the advent (alas) of reality TV, and the massive influx of *nauseating* shows (*it's a word to avoid insult*), young people are no longer incapable of answering simple but very simple. Besides, I see almost no young people to have participated in the games shows that are currently broadcast in France. There are only bourgeois children, or young people from private schools who know everything and who can win the jackpot at some point. So tell you Brits it's okay, you're still on top of the list of good contestants haha.

Even worse would be if this was done in Angola But I know what you mean, especially about the "Sun orbits around Earth" incident. (Also, how was that question 6, not question 1 or 2?)

Question 6 for 20.000 F (3.000 € in 2006) but at least Henri left with the money
You forgot to mention Greece lol
