Announced in April 2024 that the famous game is making its return to TF1 for the 25th anniversary of the game with a host who is Arthur with a filming location which is the Palais des Sports in Paris and recently on the site of the "Agence Cassandra ![]() ![]()  " French site to attend a show, it is possible to book for June 27 and 28, 2024 at 7 p.m. |

I am surprised to see that the new logo will be used in France! I was expecting it to be the usual logo, since there are only 2 special shows planned at the moment. Moreover, I think that this is the first time in 25 years that the symbols of the country's currency (€ and ₣) will not appear on the logo of the French version (excluding merchandising). Moreover, I found on Google an unused version of the special 15th anniversary logo (2015) where the variant of the € symbol appears on it (same variant that we could see on the “A la maison” (At home) logo in 2020 ) 15th anniversary unused on screen logo (2015) :  "A la maison" (at home) logo (2020) :  Regarding the return of the game itself, I am not convinced by this idea. I don't really like the TV programs presented by Arthur, most of which I consider too noisy and not well maintained. It can very quickly go completely off-topic, a bit like what happens with "Le Grand Concours" (Brainiest) which he has also presented since 2022 (and which also recently celebrated its 20th anniversary at the Cirque d'Hivers in Bouglione from Paris). These are choices that I personally regret but which I understand. Arthur is an entertainer, a bit like Jimmy Kimmel in the USA. But I still have a little hope, WWTBAM is a stronger brand than Brainiest. Now a question arises, what will the set look like knowing that the show takes place in a large concert hall. Will we get the new British set? The usual French set? Or something totally different given the location? Finally, I think that personally I could not be interested in the show as I was at the time. I find that since 2019, the French version has lost a lot of its beautiful appearance. And this information doesn't make me want to get interested in it again. But I will still follow the information when it is interesting to take! |

Honestly, I can only speak for the old French Deal or no Deal/A prendre ou a laisser episodes, but I've really liked Arthur's hosting style there! And - at least in my opinion - Arthur's way of hosting is still pretty different compared to Jimmy's. As I said before, I think that Jimmy was rather calm when hosting Millionaire, often too calm, even. I mean, he's rather a TALK show host and not a GAME show host, from what I know. But Arthur's got the energy that I really liked back then, and that he can be fun and silly but also calm and serious in the right moments. I mean, I haven't watched the shows he does nowadays, like The Weel, but I'm looking forward to seeing him host another "show classic" and I feel like he's un bon choix, a good choice!

I see that there are quite a few people talking about the return of QVGDM, so it's time for me to talk about it and to be able to respond to people regarding the return of this legendary show: so yes there is indeed two filmings which will take place at the end of June and it will not be just any place, it will be at the Dôme de Paris, I think it will be the largest set in the history of all the foreign versions of WWTBAM. At long last! Finally France joins the Olga family! Can't wait to see it! I'm a little perplexed on this point of view because the French version is known to be out of line with other foreign versions. It is renowned for being very close to the British version in terms of the graphics, the intros, the light colors and the game format. In my opinion it will either be a mixture of the British version and the Dutch version (like the Azerbaijani version), or completely from the British side. The second version of the symbol debuted in the Dutch clock version in 2011, so that's a bit why the production put this symbol there for the 15th anniversary of the game. Yes, I'm very surprised that there is only the question marks instead of it being mixed with the current currency symbol. But I don't know if between September and December 2001, the production had not put the same thing for the logo since at that time, the money tree was displayed in francs and euros. Surely I'm wrong but I'll tell you why a little later.

Must be like the UK's Deal or No Deal hosts (Noel Edmonds, Stephen Mulhern). Then again, he could be the classic "entertainer host", like Spain's Juanra Bonet or indeed the UK's Chris Tarrant. |

June 28 is going to be a long taping day, I'll be in the audience of Le Juste Prix in the afternoon and in the audience for Qui veut gagner des millions? (it could be fun to see each other in person Zudon !  I'm really excited to see the show coming back and I can't wait to see how they modernise the show. The French version has always been very conservative regarding changes (it took them a lot of time changing to the 2waytraffic intro for example), but has also been unique in certain ways (picture questions). I hope they will use the classic money tree, with the two safe heavens. The UK safety net feature is not ideal for a game played for charity. Arthur is a controversial choice because of his tendency to invite his same friends on all of his shows all the time and that he lacks seriousness in Le Grand Concours (even though there is a little bit more seriousness now). However, he was a brilliant host during his "À prendre ou à laisser" period. He managed to make contestants at ease while creating tension at the same time. In my opinion, he would be a better host if the show came back with anonymous people. Also, I might be wrong, but he will be the first person to own the rights of the show while hosting it. I hope he won't have access to the answers before they are revealed during the game. Idolsfan  |
