What does this mean for Millionaire? Maybe no more stupid changes like the removal of Phone a Friend. I don't know if Michael Davies is resonsible for all of the changes to the show, but people seem to blame him when there's a dumb change. If this is true, I hope Millionaire finds a much better exec. producer.

I am really looking at this as kind of a blessing in disguise. I think it was a good time for change for the show. And this could be the change that it needs.

The removal of Phone-a-Friend was the answer sadly

They wanted someone to win, but they also wanted someone to win it fairly. Say if two contestants go for the million and both have Phone-a-friends. The first contestant won the million cause his PAP used google. The second contestant couldn't win cause his friend doesn't own a computer so what I'm trying to say is they changed millionaire to make it easier and fair. PAPs with PC is just the contestant's unfair advantage because not everyone owns a PC.

Well then how would they have known, I'm not sure people would be too happy about people standing in their house observing them. It'd also cost them a lot of money to fly to many people's houses considering they have I believ 3 or 4 shows each day.
