Hey ho.
PaddyFancy here, named after Paddington (the London area, the station or the bear, your final answer), and a character from Top Cat. Thought I'd join here to partake in discussions with a different kind of fanbase than I had recently. Its nice to see they are still fans of Millionaire sticking around, as in my locale Millionaire as a TV show ceased to exist for over a year now. Also nice to see how tightly knit the commmunity is.
I have a Skype if anyone wants to chat, and a YouTube channel where I hope in the future I'll upload GTA V machinimas when the Video Editor comes to PS4. Right now its full of scrappy game captures.
I hope to have a good time and will be willing to get involved in extra-curricular activities that take place.

Hey guys, I never really introduced myself when I signed up. Just thought I'd say hi. My name is Lucas. Millionaire was my obsession in 1999 when I had just moved away from my hometown of 15 years. I was going through a really rough period with my family and it gave me something to look forward to every night. I always get super nostalgic for the show because of those memories. Brought my family together in a way that few things do anymore. I miss that a lot.
Anyway, thanks for making a community devoted to my favorite game show. <3

Hi there. In the past I was a fan od milionaire show (POLAND). However after some time the show have been cancelled. I genreally liked quiz/trivia shows on tv beacuse I liked to compare my knowledge with pplayers as well as my girlfriend sitting nextt to me :-) I am working on a mobile app wchich is going to be massively multiplayer trivia game (up to thousands sumiltaneous players). Hi, this is another WWTBAM fan. I was not there from the start (i was baby then) and never watched it till i was one time at my grandmother and the German version of the show was on the TV. Then i've just find like YT video's of other fans that made PPT games (which i'm doing too!), and then i started a powerpoint game. It was called WWTBAM Summer Edition (because it was summer then), but that version never got further than 3 or 4 questions. 9 months later it was Easter and i've created a clock for a little game we played then. It was a 1:30 clock with music of the M$Q (from a ytvideo. Now i've got almost all sounds. Except that sound of the clocked version where after the Phoneafriend time is up, the clock rises back up along with a restore sound. Another year later (2015) i created another MSE, but this time with 15 questions. Only problem: from Q5-Q15 it were the same questions. I'm planning to make another MSE this year, but then i will really finish it before June 21 and then post basically photos and a link to play the game. I will not record any HD video until i have a better computer, so for now i'm filming with my phone. It's created on a mac where you can only have ppt animations up to five seconds. So this is my late introduction to the forum (already been here since 2014 but have been inactive for a while. But since yesterday i'm trying to be active at least once or twice days a week.) P.S. I'm working on a Minecraft set! And there's one thing i also want to say: when that Minecraft set is done, i will be using that to create a mini-series based on the (for me my favorite version) clocked version of the show. Same thing for ROBLOX (like virtual lego) I am working on a set for ROBLOX too, thats a virtual online platform with great games made by all players. And in that game i've played a WWTBAM game ( YT link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5iC0BNlNqAI ) you will see why my HD videos are laggy and that i miss the PAF restore clock sound (skip to 3:40) Welcome aboard! Hi! I'm Ollie - a closet WWTBAM super-fan. I watched the show compulsively as a kid, owned all of the PlayStation and PC games, the electronic game and even the "Magic Moments And More" VHS tape (a release of the UK version that included "best bits" of all the shows up to that point as well as a behind the scenes documentary). I think it was around my 13th birthday that I hosted a Millionaire party as my crazy birthday party - I wore a fancy suit, set up a big screen in my kitchen, and had all my friends over to play as I hosted! I now am an advertising analyst in New York who still has a fondness for the game and am desperate to host some online games of Millionaire with "the album" which I re-purchased recently. Love this show a ton and thrilled to meet you all! Hoping to earn my stripes and get into the Games board to try out some of your PPT versions! Talk soon. |
