Hello, everyone! I said, in my presentation, I want to host my own version of WWTBAM.
In this topic, I'm going to develop the rules and the format. A contestant has to answer to 15 questions to win 1 000 000 €. But, unfortunately, he should fight against the clock... In fact, he has a total of 9 minutes to answer the questions (the clock stops when he uses a lifeline or when he shouldn't answer). So, he should to be organized so as to lost the minimum time.
Money tree: 15 - 1 000 000 € 14 - 500 000 € 13 - 250 000 € 12 - 100 000 € 11 - 72 000 € 10 - 48 000 € 9 - 24 000 € 8 - 12 000 € 7 - 6 000 € 6 - 3 000 € 5 - 1 500 € 4 - 800 € 3 - 500 € 2 - 300 € 1 - 200 €
Lifelines: - Double Dip - Ask the audience (virtual audience) - Jump the question - and, from the 11th question, Stop the clock (the clock was stopped for 1 minute).
The set: A set that looks like the US current one with a table in the center (maybe with seats), a giant screen (a canvas with a video-projector), and some lights.
Musics: A mix between original version musics and US clock format musics.
Graphics: maybe, the original "Powerpoint-ized".
I believe that's all. I will add some pictures this weekend or next week.
What do you think about it?
Bye!

WOW! I love the format. Sry for taking a long time to respond since I found it intersting when it was first posted. I think it will work great and should be awesome!

Thanks a lot for your comment. It's just a project for the moment, I don't really know if I will achieve it... I hope!

This looks really cool! I would definitely love to try this one out!
Also, just an idea, instead of a stop the clock, what about a time stop for an entire question except for the million dollar question where it is switched to the stop the clock? I think that would allow the person not to have to freak out about a question.

I like the idea, it seems weird, however, of your money tree setup but that's ok Definately excited to see the results

In the French version, the last 5 questions worth: 11 - 72 000 € 12 - 100 000 € 13 - 150 000 € 14 - 300 000 € 15 - 1 000 000 €
And I find, the difference between the 14th and the 15th questions are too big. So, I tried to adapt it.

i love the idea, certainly one to try. I think adding in the famed 50:50 also would be good, but that's up to you. I really like your idea of the big screen and stop the clock. keep it up, i love it

I hesitated to add 50:50 because I think it looks like Double Dip: the contestant, who uses these lifelines, hesitates between two possible answers. But, I keep this idea!

I tried to create some graphics for the animation of the screen and I did that: The logo: And I did a ppt (with PowerPoint 2010) but the graphics that I used are very schematized (sorry for the French question!). Link : rapidshare.com/files/430424053/__cran_g__ant__2_.pptxI need some help for: - create a 50:50 lifeline like the american one. - create real graphics and an opening titles. I think that's all. I will try to make a flash animation for the clock. Bye
